  From the time I booked this trip to the time we were dropped off at our hotel, it was as smooth as could be. Our driver picked us up at 5:15 for a 7:35 flight. We landed close to 11 am. Our driver and tour guide (Billy) picked us up at the airport in Chengdu. We arrived at the Panda Base around noon. Billy asked what was most important for us to see and tailored our visit in the Panda base to what we wanted. We are both vegetarians. He had to work a little to find food for us but he was successful. He was knowledgeable. The manner that he spoke made it more of a conversation rather than a classroom lecture. We went shopping in the alleys afterwards. The car was clean and cool. Billy also told us about the history of Chengdu as a city. He was patient when we tried to pronounce Chinese words/terms. He dropped us at the airport all the way to the ticket counter. There were issues with the plane to Beijing landing so we were in the air an extra 90 minutes. When we got to the airport, our driver from the morning was waiting. It was after 1 am! We got home safely to the hotel. This tour is worth it. Billy our tour guide was great! Our drivers were also good.

  We had a fantastic time on this tour. Viator was very well organized and helpful. Their app is user friendly and they were very communicative throughout the process of scheduling and preparing for the day. We did a very quick day trip from Beijing to Changdu and it was action packed but ran very smoothly. The panda center is a life-time opportunity that we will not forget. Our tour guide Billy promptly picked us up with the driver at the airport and took us straight to start our panda tour. We spent about 2-3 hours there which included a quick lunch and then did a tour of the Kuan and Zhai Alleys where we did some shopping and grabbed an ice cream before heading back to the airport around 5:30 pm. I have not used Viator before but I was very impressed. Billy was helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. His English was excellent and he made sure were were happy and comfortable throughout the day. The drivers picked us up at the hotel in the morning and at the airport at the end of the day. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we can highly recommend this tour service!
