I had such a fantastic experience doing this Sri Lankan cookery course with Lakshani and Vinodh, especially sharing it with my young daughter. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel completely at home. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it even more enjoyable for both of us. They also adjusted the menu option as we don’t eat meat - the prawn curry we made was awesome - alongside the large variety of vegetable and dhal curries and learning how to make coconut milk and roti too! We learned so much—far more than we expected! They explained each step clearly, shared helpful tips, and gave us a real insight into authentic Sri Lankan cooking. It was also wonderful how patient and encouraging they were with my daughter, making sure she felt involved and confident throughout. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience—fun, educational, and full of delicious food. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about Sri Lankan cuisine in such a friendly and hands-on environment. Thank you both for a wonderful day.

Such a wonderful afternoon cooking with the absolutely delightful Lakshani and her lovely sister. We prepared the most delicious food - coconut roti, sambal, beetroot curry, devilled okra, to name a few, all in a great kitchen set up. We learnt a lot about Sri Lankan cooking and it was so much fun we didn't want to leave! Thank you!

We had a wonderful cooking class and a very tasty Sri Lankan dinner afterwards which I have shared with my friends who have joined me for my little birthday gathering. Thank you so much to the hosts who did it in a very professional way and explained everything quite well and detailed. The contact beforehand by mobile phone was very friendly and fast! We will come back in the next months. Thank you! ❤️

We spent a lovely morning preparing, cooking and eating Sri Lanka food at Anyone Can Cook in Bentota Sri Lanka. We started by learning how to crack open a coconut and scrapping out the coconut flesh. We used this in a number of dishes. During the roughly 4 hour session we prepared about 10 Sri Lanka dishes, which we had the pleasure of eating afterwards. Very enjoyable and informative experience.

We have never been to a cooking class before. This class has inspired our family to experiment and introduce different spices and cooking methods to our cuisine. Would definitely recommend.

The most wonderful experience in Sri Lanka. Vinod and Lakshani were so helpful from the minute I made the enquiry. Vinod even helped to arrange our transport and they both made sure the kids were included and had enough jobs to do. The experience was around 3-4 hours, the food was fantastic, the breaking of the coconut was such fun and the range of dishes we made was incredible. The food was really the most delicious Sri Lankan food we ate! We have been inspired and have already tried to make one of the recipes. Would highly recommend the experience to anyone in the area.

Great cooking course! We made a variety of curries, from banana flower and chicken to red lentils plus fresh salads and even our own coconut milk and roti. Learned a lot about spices and their history. Excellent teachers and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
