All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross and guests may choose to swim on our tours ;-)
We provide Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience.
Weave Large granite boulders and gaze upon crystal clear turquoise shallows and cobalt blue depths.
On warmer days guests may to swim, scale up Bonzai, and leap into the water for a more thrilling adventure.
Guides capture stunning photos.
We are allowed to launch a maximum of 6 kayaks on any given tour. On tours with more than six guests booked, guests of the same family will be asked to paddle in pairs. Guests desiring kayaks for themselves should choose tours with less than six total guests.
Larger groups must request accommodation three weeks in advance and be granted permission from the state park.

Weight & Equipment Limits For your safety, all equipment has manufacturer weight limits: * Clear Kayaks: calm conditions: single person 285 or 350 lbs per boat, bumpy conditions single person 240 lbs, 300 lbs per boat. Guests exceeding posted limits may be unable to participate. In such cases, we will do our best to offer an alternative (different equipment/activity, store credit, or reschedule), but refunds are not guaranteed.
Wind can cause wavy conditions. Afternoons have a higher chance of being windy. We recommend booking mornings or flexibility into your travel schedule in case weather becomes a factor.
What To Expect
Incline Village
Meet at our shop location in Incline Village to get fitted with life jackets and listen to a quick safety talk. We will leave our shop 15 minutes later and then take a 15 minute shuttle along the pristine shoreline of North Lake Tahoe to Sand Harbor. At Sand Harbor, you will be greeted by your tour guide. You will paddle with your tour guide for 2 hours. Experience the true beauty of The Lake with the best views of picturesque landscapes and clear water. After your tour take about 15 minutes to enjoy the beach or use the restrooms and then we will shuttle back to our shop for the remaining 15 minutes of the tour.
Lake Tahoe Area
We paddle along Lake Tahoe’s North East Shore, View clear water with large boulders in see through kayaks. Bonsai rock and other picturesque features ;)

5.00We only found this outfit because all the other north lake kayak tours were already sold out, and so glad we did! We’ll never use another anytime we’re in Tahoe. The staff was relaxed and friendly, our guide Adrian was outstanding, and the experience was everything we hoped it would be and more. While you can bring your own phone/camera to take selfies and video, the guide has smart glasses and will take photos which they will air drop to you at the end for no added expense. Even though most guides and reviews say you should go super early, we had a Noon booking on a Tuesday and it was perfect. Not too crowded at all. Easy to take photos and videos without anyone else in the background, and no problem navigating around the others we came across. Equipment was all solid, bought sunscreen from the shop before we left, but still got plenty burned. Our own fault for not applying everywhere including feet, legs, ears, and scalp. Lesson learned! Next time we’ll likely rent kayaks of our own and e-bikes to explore instead of driving in the car everywhere. Wear sandals, flip flops or water shoes. Sand is HOT when you get out, and you don’t want the hassle of dealing with shoes and socks after you get out with wet sandy feet. Also bring along a small towel if you want to take a dip when you take the break near bonsai rock, which I strongly recommend. 10/10 would reccommend.

4.00The staff was organized, professional and friendly. The kayaks were in great shape. Our guide, Daniel, was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. I gave it 4 stars because I felt we did a lot of floating around, not doing much of anything, and spent too much time jumping off the rocks. I would have loved more of actual kayaking. I think maybe we would have gone longer if the other group was in better shape. Maybe that’s why we didn’t go out as far. I don’t know.

5.00We had such a lovely time with Will today! There’s no better way to get a quiet feel for the lake and see the scenery than from a kayak. From start to finish the service was outstanding and the views and equipment were perfect. This is the one thing that we did in Lake Tahoe that was well worth the price.

5.00Just a really great trip! We enjoyed it! It wasn’t over the top but it was relaxing and enjoyable to get out on the water. Daniel, our guide was really kind and helpful. He was knowledgeable about the lake and did a really good job of keeping the trip enjoyable.

5.00Had a great time out on the lake during the 9am morning time slot as there was fewer boats out in the area so the water was pretty calm and clear to see down a good 50-60’. Paddling around the Bonsai rock area was neat and we got some great photos. Our tour guide, Will , was great and knowledgeable and even sent us notes on nearby great spots for dining, beaches, and activities. Would definitely recommend the clear kayak as that is the best way to experience the beautiful lake. Thanks again. R&N
