A great day! Full itinerary making sure you get to all the sights. Great guide with loads of local knowledge and stories. Would have liked to have a little more free time at some of the stops, but appreciate this tour had a packed itinerary.

We did this tour on our recent trip to Cairns and it was awesome! Reece was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and had a lot of local knowledge (and jokes) about the region. There are a bunch of highlight stops so you see a lot of different aspects of the area including Daintree rainforest walks, Cape tribulation, Mossman Gorge and lookout spots plus some quick views of Palm Cove and Port Douglas. There is also a river cruise where we spotted crocodiles and got to see a lot of blue Ulysses butterflies while we were waiting for the boat. We were also fortunate enough to see a cassowary which was a definite highlight of the day. It was a long day but we felt that was a huge positive because we really got our money’s worth and it was super easy with hotel pick up and drop off. 10/10 recommend.

We hit all the highlights in the area! As a local himself, our guide, Scott, shared lots of stories about the area and was well versed on the entire region.

Truly excellent tour, rich in history, curiosities, and legends about the local population, flora, and fauna. A wonderful experience on the Daintree River, lunch in the rainforest, delicious tropical gelato, and a beautiful visit to Cape Tribulation Beach. It is truly worth it; the guide was fantastic. There is also the option of an audio guide.

This was my first time in Australia and my first experience with Down Under Tours, and they were absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend them for any tour, and especially this one—it was brilliant from start to finish. Adrian H - our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging throughout the day. His enthusiasm and expertise really enhanced the experience, and he is a true credit to the company. If you’re considering booking this tour, don’t hesitate. It was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Australia. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the most amazing day out with Down Under Tours in the Daintree. We did a river cruise and were able to spot a few crocs, then went to Cape Tribulation, Alexandra Lookout and Daintree Ice Cream. The guide was awesome and super knowledgeable, what a great day out!

Spent the day on a private tour with Scott as our guide. It was a great experience as Scott was knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. He was also well versed in discussing the indigenous culture. Saw Crocodiles on the river and cassowaries on the road, among notable wildlife. Have to mention the great ice cream stop with local flavors. Well done.
