Spectacular … a bucket list experience! This tour is absolutely spectacular and belongs on everyone’s bucket list. Glosby Gad was our guide and he was awesome – knowledgeable, flexible, and made the whole day feel effortless. The hike up the mountain through the villages is something else entirely. You get a real glimpse into the lives of the people who live there, and then the views at the top just blow you away. It’s the kind of place you have to see to believe. The hike is a great fitness goal but don’t let that put you off, Glosby Gad manages every level, with plenty of stops to rest and refresh along the way. The boat trip feels like a gift. You find yourself floating through scenery that feels like it could be Italy, yet you’re in the heart of Africa. It’s surreal in the best possible way. We went in May and were blessed with a glorious day. There were two of us, but in my book the more the merrier – this is a trip worth sharing with as many people as possible. Highly recommend. Ask for Glosby Gad, take your time, and enjoy every moment of the journey.

A great escape to the Northern Province. If you like Mountain Views combined with moderate hiking involving some uphill trails, taking a boat trip to a secluded island with wonderful birdlife, then this tour is for you. Gad is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

My tour to the twin lakes was truly epic. Starting with an amazing scenic drive to reach the lakes. The hike to the viewpoint overlooking the lakes was challenging enough, but totally worth it. The views at the top were incredible. And to finish off with a scenic boat ride on the lake was a good way to round off what had been a great tour! I also have to mention my tour guide, Glosby Gad is very knowledgeable and passionate about the beauty of his country! It is easy to see why! Thank you Glosby Gad, and thank you Yambi for organising this epic day trip!

Excellent tour with Yambi, and amazing experience with Gad as the guide! The hike was not too difficult, but still some nice exercise with beautiful views throughout. The boat ride at the end was very relaxing, with a great lunch stop with a view of Lake Burera. Would highly recommend this tour - 10/10 experience!
