What To Expect
Catalina Island
This Catalina Island dolphin and sea lion excursion takes full advantage of Catalina Island’s abundant wildlife and scenic coastline. Our six Passenger boat will take you from Avalon out into the Pacific Ocean in search of our favorite species, the Common Dolphin. During whale migration season we will also travel out to the local hang out for the whales as they migrate through the nutrient rich waters of Catalina Island. Frequent visitors to our coast include Common Dolphin, Risso’s Dolphin, Grey Whales, Blue Whales, Fin Whales, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, resident Bald Eagles, and sometimes even a Buffalo along the coastline. Although we cannot guarantee we will see dolphins on each trip, we can guarantee the Captain will work his hardest to locate them and use all of our local connections to find their whereabouts!

4.00Did not get to see any whales or dolphins unfortunately, and went on a slightly low visibility day as well, but the ride was very fun and saw some seals/sea lions and some truly lovely views of the cliffs along the shoreline near Avalon.

5.00I absolutely loved this tour. The guide was 10 to 10. Amazing gorgeous fabulous everything a man could be.. anyway. The boat ride was very very fun. I promise I’ve never had a better time. Beautiful views got to see beautiful parts of the island and it lasted what felt like forever in an hour which is amazing and lots of information on the island and the animals we got to see them very very close-up and he made the righteous chefs kiss. The music he played was amazing and if you don’t take it I promise you I will take it 10 times again

5.00Great tour if you're looking for something that's quick and easy. Carson is a fantastic tour guide! We saw lots of sea lions hanging out along the shoreline. And, we got lucky and saw a pod if dolphins.
