What To Expect
Stirling Castle
your day begins with your Greenock shore excursion heading through to ‘Braveheart’ country, to visit Stirlingshire and Stirling Castle, arguably one of Scotland’s most important fortresses. Below the Castle, the Old Town of Stirling is still protected by its original walls, built in the 16th Century to protect Mary, Queen of Scots from Henry VIII. Here we will stop to enjoy time to tour the castle, learn all about the exploits of Robert the Bruce and the infamous Scottish Queen, and enjoy refreshments at the castle’s charming café.
Aberfoyle VisitScotland iCentre
In the heart of the Trossachs your shore excursion will make a stop at Kilmahog to maybe see some highland cattle up close. We then journey to the village of Aberfoyle located just below the Highland faultline, to enjoy a bite to eat and time to explore.

5.00We went for the tour with Jerry and he took us through Oban , Glenco and the highland tours . We had a small detour as there was an accident ahead … so our tour which was 9.5 became 12 hours ! Every hour was fun as Jerry told Scotland stories and he had many caps n Scottish flag for which we took many picturistic pic with family. In Oben we had lunch in Oban restaurant and the pub curry was tasting like Maggie noodles 🤣 but was yum . There is a museum too which has free entry and is a must visit . We could not move around much as it was heavily raining . The tour around the highland was magificiant and not to be missed

5.00I would give 6 stars if I could! Jack, our guide, was incredible! Not only was he funny and informative but he handled a situation with the bus brilliantly. The day was just amazing! We got to pet highland cows, see a castle, and go to Loch Lomond.

3.00We had a little trouble finding the bus initially. Recommend more explicit instructions on where to meet. Lots of time on the bus! Stirling Castle was ok but expected more decor. We didn’t have a docent or audio tour so we were a bit lost going around. The stop in Callendar was just ok. The recommended restaurants were packed and there isn’t much to the town. The Loch Lomond stop was also just ok. That being said our tour guide Jack was great-funny and informative. I wouldn’t recommend this tour itinerary.

Beautiful scenery on this tour although we were a little disappointed at Loch Lomond to find it was so commercialised rather than truly rural. This tour is fantastic value for money and we would highly recommend it.

5.00We had a great time visiting Stirling Castle, loch Lamond, highland Coo’s and driving all through the beautiful countryside. We are still awestruck over the unspoiled beauty of Scotland. Our bus driver wishing people a Merry Christmas and our guide resighting a highland poem (whatever it meant) were highlights of our day! Thanks for great memories! We would highly recommend this tour.

4.00It was a beautiful tour but needed a bit more information about the Giants Causeway. Since it was only a half day tour (which was fine) we didn’t have entrance to the info center which would have been helpful. The driver and guide did a great job and took time to stop for the scenic views.
