It was a really great experience! The tour guide (Eric) was incredible. He was really helpful and always kind, and was able to speak in both French and Spanish to help everyone out. The locations were great.

Driving was sometimes quite fast for the circumstance. 🙂 also maybe little bit more time would be good that there is not so harry to next place. On in all I had good experience and Gunnar RA was brilliant guide with his stories 👍

We were so lucky booking this tour, our tour guide was the best! The pickup was really smooth and you could tell right away it was going to be a good tour based off Richie's vibes. We did not realize how lucky we got with this tour with Richie until we went on another tour that trip and it was not good at all. Richie was very knowledgeable and shared so much on the drive up. He even made a playlist of icelandic music for us to enjoy on the way back! Siggi was our driver and was great, very smooth ride. Be sure to book a tour with Reykjavik Excursions, you will not be disappointed!

It was a fantastic trip, we did your tour on Saturday and on Sunday we visited the blue lagoon. We celebrated our fathers 60th birthday and found an excellent restaurant. The trip was worth the money. 🇮🇸

Wonderful day trip from Reykjavik. Leifur was a great guide and driver. The greenhouse, geysir, falls, and national park are all educational and scenic. Recommended for any first timers to the island.

We began the trip with a stop at the Fridheimar tomato greenhouse and Icelandic horse farm where we were given a very interesting tour of the organic and hydroponic tomato growing facilities. Note that you can buy excellent quality tomatoes here for a very reasonable price! The second (lunch) stop was at the geysir fields to see boiling pots, Strokkur the geyser erupt, and beautiful fields of wildflowers. The third stop was at Gullfoss Falls, a spectacular jokulhlaup-incised canyon with a raging torrent of a river running through it! The fourth and final stop of the day was at the Thingvellir National Park to see the ancient assembly site of Icelands’ early chieftains. It also happens to be the subaerial expression of the mid-Atlantic rift at the Icelandic hotspot! Here you are literally standing on the boundary between the North American tectonic plate and the Eurasian plate as they move away from one another at a half spreading rate of 1 cm per year! Our coach accommodation was clean, comfortable, and warm, and our driver, Johannes, was skillful and safe. Finally, our tour guide, Gudjon, was patient, accommodating, and a veritable font of information relating to Icelandic history, culture, and natural history!
