Family visit to Iceland (second full day tour with Reykjavik excursion)

4.00The tomato farm, geyser, and national park were all interesting. The driver and guide Dori did a great job both driving and guiding. The reason for four stars and not the fault of the driver. The back row was very hot and stuffy on a 60F sunny day. The driver turned off the heater and turned up the fan but since the sun was shining and there’s no AC it got pretty uncomfortable and sweaty. We were in a mid-size bus for this tour not the big 50 person bus. We also took another tour on a 50 person bus and the circulation was much more comfortable in the big bus. Also would be great to have a little extra time at Thingvellir national park because it is a big place. Overall the driver/guide was kind and the tour was organized.

5.00Rich was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on each of the tour stops. Very helpful in walking around to the best spots to see and he made sure the tour stayed on time. He also gave great tips on restaurant and other things to see that were not included in the tour. We highly recommend Rich and this tour.

4.00Very enjoyable and educational trip. Driver/guide Dori was interesting to listen to and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the country. The geology and history was particularly enjoyable. Trip to the waterfall was the highlight. A really memorable experience.

5.00This was a wonderful excursion. It's was the usual Golden Circle tour but included a stop at Frioheimar greenhouse/farm. Cannot say how much the whole family enjoyed the tour. Every site was even more amazing in person. And we were so lucky to get "Tony" as our tour guide. A full day is a long time to keep a group this large entertained, but Tony did it with ease. Incredible knowledge of the history, culture, and environment that he shared throughout the trip... engaging, funny, and informative. Thank you Tony for this terrific introduction to an amazing country.
