I can't rate Krish highly enough! This wonderful guy is the go to driver in sri Lanka. For the entire tour I felt handheld throughout. Advice provided on where to see and what to be aware of. So important if travelling Sri Lanka for the first time. Even provided pillows for the first leg of journey which was 5 hours. A really kind , pleasant and funny guy who will make a trip around this beautiful country all the more special. A really safe driver too with a very comfortable van. Thanks Krish for a wonderful few days!

  • Most excellent tour of Sri Lanka

    - Review from Tripadvisor

I asked Krish, my tour guide and driver (and owner of the company), to put together a three day tour for me around Sri Lanka, and he did an amazing job. Krish put together a fun, interesting, educational, and amazing tour for me, and just as importantly, tailored it around my interests. I mentioned that I was interested in ancient ruins and relics and he arranged for me to visit a number of them in the central region Sri Lanka. On top of this, Krish was extremely flexible - even on the morning that he picked me up, I mentioned that I wanted to do things a bit differently than the original plan and he was accommodative. He told me that he was up for whatever I wanted to do, which was a huge relief. Having traveled in South Asia extensively, I am used to tour guides who push certain things on you or insist on doing things a certain way. But not Krish. He really takes it to heart that the desires of the customer come first. Beyond all this, Krish was extremely knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and full of information and background. From history to Bhuddism to culture and cuisine, I feel like I got a great lesson on all things Sri Lanka. He patiently answered all my questions and took time to explain things that would help me understand what I was seeing. And he did it all in a courteous and respectful manner quite befitting of his profession. All in all, I feel quite lucky to have gotten a tour from Krish. It was a joy to travel with him and the price was extremely reasonable. If I return to Sri Lanka, I would hire him again in a flash. In fact, I would even recommend him to anyone that is visiting.

  • Most memorable Sri Lanka visit with Krish being our Guide and Driver

Thanks to Krish, our guide and driver, we have a most enjoyable 13 days grand tour of Sri Lanka. What a wonderful experience we had from our initial trip planning to actually completing our itinerary smoothly without any incidents. Krish has years of experience as a guide, speaks fluent English , a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge of his country, and along with his enthusiasm, patience and attention to details help made this trip one of my most memorable one. Besides being a safe driver, he always keep his late model Toyota clean and neat by washing it almost every day. During our 13 days, we covered 7 out of 8 UNESCO sites in Sri Lanka. Krish accompanied us everywhere and even in the extreme hot weather, he led us to the top of Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya, strolled along side with us through the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. At each stop, Krish would go through explaining the history and patiently answer all the questions we had. When it’s break time, he introduced a local refreshing orange drink to us which we liked so much that we looked for it every chance we got. A visit to a new place won’t be complete without trying out local food. I was most pleased with his trips to the local fish markets to get us fresh lobsters and crabs and other seafood, expertly prepared by his local connections, thus allowing us to enjoy delicious unequaled Sri Lanka seafood meals! All in all, we are extremely fortunate and happy to have Krish, and we highly recommend his tour to anyone who is planning a Sri Lanka visit. We cherished the time we spent together, and we look forward to seeing him someday soon! Thank you again Krish for your hospitality!!

Me and my bf went to Sri Lanka for a ten days tour last year and had a great time there. We fconsidered many people and at last were lucky to have Krish as our driver, guide, and friend. The car is always kept clean and neat,Krish washed it everyday! So our beautiful white toyota is easily recognized in all parking lots.Unlike others,Krish speaks fluent English because he used to work in a university as a teacher. In another word,he is a well educated guy, wwho has profound detailed and acurate knowledge of all the interests. From the airport to Negomo to Lion rock to Polonnaruwa to Kandy to NE to Tissa, thanks to Krish's suggestions, good driving and patience. We felt safe and happy with him. After apart,we confronted many troubles and missed him a lot.Amnong all the drivers,Krish also gave us a reasonable price.Anyway choosing Krish is an absolutely right decission.

  • An adventure for sure!

We first heard about Krish though a friend of ours and decided that it would be best to have a guide to help us navigate this beautiful country. Krish was much more than just driver; he has a depth of knowledge of the country that is invaluable. Without him,the stories of many of the 3rd century BC artifacts, temples, UNESCO sites and so on, would have been lost to us. There were also other (less intellectually stimulating) sites that he took us to for animal siting, snorkeling, and hiking. One thing is also for sure: Krish is very passionate about making sure that his guests have a safe journey. The car rides can be a bit harrowing because of the way that everyone drives there (read: terrifying) but Krish was constantly checking in on how we were doing and making sure that we were happy. During our third week there, we unfortunately we were hit by a drunk driver (not Krish's fault in any way) and although Krish's car needed repairs, he made sure that our tour continued with a new guide who was just as kind. If you are interested in seeing a country that is as beautiful as it is diverse, Sri Lanka is for you! However, as my husband and I learned to say by the end of the trip "Sri Lanka ain't for the faint!". The heat and humidity can be quite strong, the bugs in the rain forest can leave you with fascinating skin challenges, and the hikes (though totally worth it) leave you breathless and sore the next day. :) Go for an adventure of a lifetime and soak in all that Sri Lanka has to offer.

  • Most amazing trip with Shiran

My husband and I were so lucky to choose this tour for Srilanka. Our tour guide "Shiran" was a great choice for 6 days. He was very kind, warm, patient and knowledgable person about his country. He speaks very good English and is always eager to learn more. Shiran's driving behaviour was very polite, calm and safe. His car was always clean and ready for long rides. We would like to thank him for all of his efforts because he left a beautiful memory of his country that makes us want to come back again and again and again with him. We were supposed to have the tour with Mr. Krish but he was busy, and luckily he had Shiran free for us. We couldn't be more grateful. My husband and I spent one night with Krish and Shiran over a great dinner in Kandy and it was great to have both of them with us. If you are looking for a trustful journey with an amazing company, then you will find nothing better than Sri Lanka for vacation - Day tours. Thank you again!!

  • Enchanting trip with Krish

    G G,May 13, 2015

    - Review from Tripadvisor

    5.00

We choose to travel with Krish for our first ever visit to Sri Lanka. Krish was a recommendation from my good friend of mine Josh. He liked how Krish was always polite and kind and told me Krish is one of the best tour guides in Sri Lanka and I must agree! He is the best! We did write to a few agents around Sri Lanka but his rate is worthy and he planned an itinerary that we wanted with no hidden clauses. He was always prompt in replying to our emails and that made him stand out than any other. Our trip began from Colombo airport heading to Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala, and thereafter to Sigiriya. But when we reach Pinnawala, my friends felt we miss half the itinerary of the day and seem not worthy to go. Krish did not fret when we made that sudden change in our plan. He was very flexible. For every spot that we visit, Krish gives such enchanting history of those places. He tells the tale with so much passion for the ancient history and the proud moment of being a Sri Lankan, Buddhist and naturally a good person. It’s great to see people appreciate history so much and willing to share with no exaggerations. Stories about ravana and kataragama were one of our favourites! We spend almost 2 hours just listening and asking him so many questions about it. During the long hours in the car, we even played games to keep us sane from the long drive and he was singing for us his favourite local song and kuch kuch hotta hai...During our stay in Yala, we were told by the hotel that we need to check out by 11 am and we will not be able to refresh after the trip at the National Park. Krish as usual being our guardian angel arranged with his friend to let us refresh at their home before we head to our next pit stop. The hospitality was great and they serve us tea and even charged less than the initially quotes for the jeep. Krish is a great photographer too! He snapped so many great pictures of us with his phone and camera and we took so many “WE”fies! Krish is very helpful to translate and explain when he takes us to places for our meals with one friend being vegetarian and all of us not being a big eater. He manages to work things out for us all. Krish is ever ready to protect us from any harm. We even learned a few local words from Krish. Stuti (Thank You) Krish. Over our 9 day trip we have build a great friendship and our trip was filled many happy moments. Jokes we will cherish every time we see another elephant or a whale

  • Reliable, Friendly & Great Value Tours In Sri Lanka

If you're looking for someone to help you plan a tour in Sri Lanka then look no further than Krish! I can't recommend him enough in terms of reliability, helpfulness, friendliness and great value. I had an idea of the main sights that I wanted to see in Sri Lanka in 8 days, and Krish helped plan a route that fitted everything in, and suggested some great additions along the way. He was always prompt at replying to emails, and happy to answer the many questions that I had before everything was nailed down. He even went to the train station to get our tickets for the Colombo to Kandy train, as it's hard to book these from outside Sri Lanka. He wasn't available for our actual tour, so arranged for one of his other drivers to take us (Amila) who was also great - really friendly, and a pleasure to spend a week with. And just FYI to maybe save you some time/research, I did get in touch with a few different companies initially when plan this trip, but Krish was by far the most efficient in terms of responding, the most helpful, and also at a great price. 10 out of 10 from me, and I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with him for your adventures in Sri Lanka!
