I visited a wonderful sake brewery in a peaceful rural area—something I never expected to find so close to the city. I was amazed that a place like something out of a Studio Ghibli film could be reached in just about an hour and a half from Yokohama. Taking a local bus and seeing the suburban scenery was also a great experience. It would have been difficult to visit on my own, so I’m really glad I joined this tour. I also enjoyed being introduced to local snacks that pair well with sake and that I could take back home. In the relaxed atmosphere, I deepened my understanding of Japanese sake and culture. Miki was very attentive, and the entire experience was comfortable, refreshing, and memorable.
