This 1.5-hour Mehendi art class helps you to learn the basic of the ephemeral henna tattoos. During the class, you will be taught how to make the paste, draw extremely fine lines and sophisticated designs.

What To Expect
Sita Cultural Center
During this session the teacher will tell you about the purpose of Mehendi in Indian ceremonies, show different designs which are used all over the world, patterns and the way of drawing. You will first try your hand on a paper draft before drawing on your own hand or the one of your friend. You leave Sita with a nice henna design on your hand that you should leave for at least an hour before scrapping dry henna paste off. This class is ideal for both kids and adults.

5.00A variety of craft, cooking, exploring and shopping experiences offered on different days/ times - check whats available. Central to main tourist area and an easy walk. Class run by lovely ladies (experienced in their area) who offered the class even though I was the only one (higher charge though).

5.00Excellent lecture/ diskussion with a higly skilled teacher with a LOT of knowlege on her subject. She made it easy to follow. We were only two participans which made it easy to costumize the teaching. Highly recomended If you are interested in the lives of women in india!,

5.00Hema our instructor was just great! she answered all our question on mehendi art and showed us so many great designs. she is so talented at drawing too. she even stayed much longer than she was supposed to because most track of time and were just enjoying it so much. thank you so much and wish we could have done some other classes at sita as it seems like a real gem!
