Once we finally figured out how to use the card it was fine. Viator sent an email with a link to open a ticket in the Viator app, but that “ticket” is useless. We had to call the tour operator (at least the pdf ticket had that number) and they had to email us information on how to download their app and a 6 digit code required to activate it. Then, when you open each activity, you have 5 min to show it to the tour operator. I’m not sure how this is supposed to help you skip the lines either. So far neither tour we’ve gone on knew anything about this. The first one, unsure what to do, just gave us a ticket. The 2nd one said there was nothing they could do until we had the appropriate code to enter into their system. So, we sat down and spent about 30 min trying to figure out how to contact the tour operator on my quickly battery-dying phone. The folks at the skydeck were kind enough to charge it for me while we were up there though. It does seem like we’ll save some money as long as we continue to go on the rest of the tours, but it was incredibly frustrating to try to figure out.

After going around, I still like the place where I live. Whether it is transportation or other conditions, they are all very excellent. The environment and temperature are also very comfortable. Of course, the food here is also very popular.

Didn’t say that most Things were unavailable and not operating. Paid 250 for $50 experience. It was just a waste of money since there was no sight seeing bus to hop on

This City Pass was one of the best decision we made after landing into Melbourne. My boyfriend and I wanted to see as many things as possible in little time so this was just perfect. The 3 days pass really saved us a lot of money. No queueing up was a time saver too!

We bought this card to visit places with my family and it’s been a good experience. Saved a lot of money compared to what we used to spend before whenever family comes to visit us. We added 4 people on one card and it was convenient.

We found this card useful as we wanted to visit all the attractions in and around Melbourne. It was easy to book and pay online. We receive the code via email within 24 hours of the purchase, so we downloaded the app we also received tips on how to use the pass. You don’t need to do much, just catch the city sightseeing bus and follow the itinerary to get the best value.

" This is an outstanding deal for tourists who visit Melbourne. We bought ours for a three day pass ( you can also buy 2 days pass) on the internet through Viator. The Melbourne card provides unlimited access to attractions and great transportation hop-on hop-off busses (runs frequently) as well as free trams in the city. On top of that you have free entrance to all the attractions. Plus you have the choices of restaurants and bars with one on one cocktail deals and discount on food, you can pick what you like. If you visit just 3-4 venues you come out ahead and it is all very convenient. "🙃

Was in Melbourne for the second time to see my family and honestly wasn’t keen on doing ‘touristy’ stuff. But came across Melbourne City Card and decided to visit a few places in two days and I realised that ‘touristy’ stuff is a lot of fun as well :) The card was easy to use on the mobile phone, would recommend to visitors.

" The card is not cheap so you have to make sure you use all of the benefits such as the Attraction entry, the river cruise, etc. It is particularly helpful with the free sightseeing bus service with 27 stops which is extensive in Melbourne. "

We bought two passes well in advance saving a few dollars. We also did plenty of planning and were aware of three consecutive days, we knew opening/closing times and locations etc. The pass ensured that we would find the time to visit some of the A1 attractions. We followed the itineraries suggested by Melbourne City Card Guide. All in all we had absolutely no issues and found the pass very useful.
