What To Expect
Japanese Calligraphy & Colorful Art Experience at Lake Kawaguchi Enjoy a peaceful Japanese calligraphy experience at the foot of Mt. Fuji, surroundedby the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of Lake Kawaguchi. You can choose between two wonderful styles: Traditional Shodo using classic black ink, or Colorful Art Calligraphy using a vibrant spectrum of colors. Using traditional brushes, you’ll learn basic strokes and express your favorite word, name, or creative ideas with heart and creativity. At the end of the session, create your own original artwork on your choice of material: Shikishi (calligraphy board) Available for both Traditional and Colorful styles! Uchiwa / Sensu (Japanese fan) Traditional Shodo (Black Ink) only Makimono (scroll) Traditional Shodo (Black Ink) only You can take your finished piece home as a special souvenir of your trip to Japan. ⏱️ Duration: About 1 hour Instructor: Japanese calligraphy teacher (English support available) Location: Near Lake Kawaguchi, with a view of Mt. 5.00During my solo trip, I happened to discover a piece of Japanese culture. The coach was very patient and taught me carefully. The view of Lake Kawaguchi from the window was also very beautiful, and I had a wonderful time. The small gift review had “thank you” written in Japanese. That, too, became another special souvenir for me.
