We had a great guide, a good driver and also a bit of luck. We could observe three tigers. Really majestic animals!

We were lucky: we saw a tiger several times and at some point at quite close reach - so close that we had to back up to not get too close. The landscape is magnificent with great views. The trip could have been entirely magical... if we hadn’t unfortunately had a guide who talked (almost yelling) uninterrupted. For me, one of the most important things about safari is just the calm: to turn off the engine from time to time, to be quiet and just listen to the many sounds of the jungle. When you constantly talk loud, you lose a lot of the mood. There is a total ban on taking pictures with his mobile phone. To me it seems unlogical when you are allowed to take pictures with a camera at the same time. I really hope that, India will reconsider and possibly soften the mobile ban. Of course, it makes sense not to talk on the phone and that there are restrictions on commercial recordings. But a total ban on ordinary guests is hard to rationalize. If a few photos are important to you, I recommend that you choose safari in Kenya or South Africa, where there is no total ban on mobile phones.

Very well organised Panna Tiger safari. Driver of car and jeep, both were good and we got a good guide too. Communication by representative of Classic India Journeys was clear and seamless. Panna park is beutiful and yes we saw family of tigers, mother and her 4 cubs and also plenty of other animals and birds. It was very exciting safari. We loved it and recommend to everyone visiting Khajuraho and Panna.

Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Booking on Viator for a specific date and time does not guarantee a safari trip inside park. Local rep of Classic India Journies will finalize with you manually. You are paying up front for transport to park. Safari is extra. I could not go as the time and date I was booked for the safari was overbooked which only emerged a couple of days after I booked. Was given a refund but I had stayed an extra day in Khajuraho specifically for this trip and paid for hotel etc. Buyer beware.

I had to pay for the entrance to the national park separately. I think you should put it in the amount from the beginning. I couldn't see the tiger. I think it depends on the season, but it was a shame.

Overall experience was good. Excellent driver and guide. We were able to see two adult tigers and three baby tigers. Only confusion was our pick up time and entry gate were changed just a day before. If there are some uncertainty about these, the local agency should make it clear to us well ahead of time(instead of showing potentially wrong pick up time). we also wanted to see the vulture point, but the driver indicated that it was too late! Future travelers, please indicate the driver will ahead if you would like to visit double chair point.

The best part of the tiger reserve is that no matter which of the three gates you enter from, Akola is where we entered , you can explore all core areas inside the reserve . So we managed to sight a tigress at close quarter in the evening safari ..

Good experience in Panna. Driver was on time and handled all the check in at the reserve. We didn't see any tigers, but that was not a total surprise as it was not the season (more active in summer)

Experience in the park was mixed. The major issue was that our guide in the park conducted 90% of the tour in Hindi to cater to other guests. We did not understand and at one point another guest was translating for us. Another thing to flag is we were asked to pay an extra charge once inside the park to take a boat trip. The positive here is that we did see a brief flash of a tiger cub running between bushes - for around one second. The boat ahead of us saw the whole tiger family up close for 5 mins, so it is a matter of luck. On multiple occasions our driver was overtaken by several vehicles - leaving us behind in big dust clouds. One time the other vehicles went ahead, they all saw tigers and we did not as we were too far behind. Pick-up and drop-off driver was excellent and this was well arranged by the operator. There was good communication. Animals seen on our visit include crocodile, sloth bear, deer, monkeys.
