The Amish Farm And House
If you require the use of our handicap-accessible bus, please message us after booking! Sit back, relax and let us take you through the real Amish country backroads. Your driver-guide will drive 25 miles into countryside not easily found on our own. From the window, you’ll see Amish homes, schools and farms. Depending on the season you might see Amish working in their fields, children riding on scooters and horse & buggies traveling to and from. Your driver-guide will be narrating as you see the Amish going about their everyday life. You’ll learn about agriculture, farming techniques, weddings, family traditions and how they live in our ‘modern world’. It’s not just all on the bus; we make two stops at Amish farms where you’ll get to interact with the Amish folks. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase goods made from the very hands who made them! (not on Sundays)
The Amish Farm And House
We encourage you to come to our farm! There is never any waiting when you arrive, as there's so much to do see and do on the self-guided walking tour of the farm. We also have a gift shop filled with handmade Amish items.

Amanda was great. We didn't feel rushed and she was very knowledgeable. Tell. her at the end of the movie, they didn't end up together. LOL

Beautiful scenery and very informative on the mini bus tour. And the house tour was interesting as well. It was a hot day so we did not do the self- guided tour due to having mature family members with us since it required some walking. The tour guides for the bus and house tour were very knowledgeable and made it fun! Overall it was a great experience!

This was an interesting tour but the bus ride through the Amish countryside seemed more about visiting craft shops on route to support the Amish people although the guide, Amanda, was very good and did a running commentary all the way round. 90 minutes was plenty long for this part of the tour. The visit to the Amish house and farm was very good indeed and again Amanda was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information.

Our house tour by Martha was just perfect! She went into great detail but kept it short enough to not bore anyone. We came away with so much great knowledge about their way of life and truly appreciate them so much more. Absolutely fascinating! Even my 14year old son was into it. The Farm was delightful to tour, great to see wide assortment of animals. We really enjoyed every minute of it! We also loved the gift shop, the birch beer and everyone who worked there was so pleasant!! We even got recommendations for local Sunday restaurant options.

This was a great tour! The bus was nice to get around in, I’m so used to walking tours lol. The guide was fluent in English, Spanish and French. That was awesome. I really loved being able to visit Amish homes and get first hand experience how they lived. Fell in love with the baby goats and horses there. The ending tour was informative but I really liked being able to explore the Amish farm area behind the store/model home afterwards. Too bad the rain made us end our exploration earlier than desired! Highly recommend!
