5.00There's nothing quite like being in the wilderness as the sky darkens and the stars fade in from dim spots to bright objects in the sky. Our guide, Alex, gave a more expansive introduction to the night sky than we have experienced in other places. We appreciated the connections he made to mythology, the explanations about the difference between astronomy and astrology along with showing the constellations forming the zodiac, and his ability to explain technical details. This experience is well worth doing!

She engaged us in conversation and gave us references of names of stars, constellations, history from our ancestors regarding astronomy while pointing to the stars in comfortable zero gravity chairs during our 90 minute private tour. I highly recommended you to book Krista on your next visit to Sequoia National Park! Absolutely fantastic experience!

5.00We loved stargazing with Krista! She is the best. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. And her knowledge and passion for astronomy taught us so much. My pre-teen was fully engaged and thought our 90 minute experience went by too fast. If you have the opportunity to hire Krista, please do, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!!! Plus we loved the cozy blanket she provided!!

5.00Krista was a great host who was very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I enjoyed talking about the constellations and learning about some of the stories that have derived from them. We even got to see a grey fox as we were exiting the park!

5.00As beautiful as the sky is, krista is def the star of the show. she is so bubbly, knowledgeable, & energetic. We even had the clouds working against us & we still couldn’t get enough of hanging out with her. truly a must do if you’re planning on coming to the area

5.00Our evening of stargazing with Krista was a real highlight of our time at Sequoia National Park. Krista is knowledgeable, super-friendly, and a great storyteller. She also has an amazing laser pointer that makes it easy to point out stars, constellations, satellites, etc. The seating is comfortable, and everything was set up and ready to go upon our arrival. Krista was also kind enough to proactively communicate with us and provide options when the weather forecast became uncertain. As it turned out, we stuck with our plan and the weather cleared up nicely. We would highly recommend the stargazing tour with Krista!

5.00We were complete star gazing amateurs. Our guide Krista was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable seating. Krista was full of knowledge and was funny and helpful. Great experience - so much so that I’ll be continuing to star gaze on my return home… a new hobby!
