1.00very bad experience with Air India, unaware of immigration even they name as international airport. Check in counter lady Ms. Jyotsana was very rude and not aware of how to handel expired greencard(10 yrs validity), initially she was hasitant to call her senior to help navigate the situation, after multiple request she call her senior Mr. Amit who was also not aware about how to checkin person with expired greencard. our ticket was from HSR-BOM-JFK. We ask him to call CBP hotline which is open 24x7 to authorise travel for expired 10 yrs validity greencard but he ignored and told us to chek-in until BOM and let BOM staff handel (passenger was 78 year old lady). she may have to come back if BOM staff don't help. At BOM airport Air India staff requested senior to help and the lady call CBP upon our request and get authorization to travel, we landed safely at JFK and there was not issue even with expired greencard. (Rajkot staff Mr. Amit or Ms. Jyotsana should have called but they didn't care) Rajkot Air India rationg 0 (ignorant senior staff) Mumbai Air india rating 5 (helpfull staff who care about travellers) "USCIS specifically mentioned in their career manual that if 10 yrs validity Greencard expired they still able to travel if its not expired over a year. they don't need career documentation"
