For over 2 decades, I’ve been organizing tiger safari tours in Ranthambhore National Park, a place I proudly call home. Born and raised here among the tigers, I bring deep local knowledge and a personal touch to every safari experience.
After being picked up from your hotel in Sawai Madhopur, set off on a 3-hour shared safari at Ranthambore National Park, located in Rajasthan. Each safari is limited to one of the 10 available zones, based on availability, and offers the chance to encounter the park's renowned Royal Bengal Tigers amidst its vast deciduous forests.
You can choose between two safari options:
Jeep: A more intimate experience, shared with up to 5 other guests (6 people total).
Canter (Bus): A more economical option, accommodating up to 20 people in a shared vehicle.
As you journey through the forests, keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife, including different species of deer, sloth bears, monkeys, hyenas, and leopards.
Wheelchair accessible
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Excess time is for transportation
Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambhore National Park, located in the desert state of Rajasthan, India, is one of the country's most renowned tiger reserves and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. The park is surrounded by the ancient 10th century Ranthambhore Fort, adding a historical and majestic charm to its wilderness. Ranthambhore boasts a robust population of royal Bengal tigers (around 75 tigers in 1400 square km area), making it the premier and most iconic tiger reserve in India. It features a dry-deciduous forest, characterized by sparse undergrowth and shedding of leaves by most trees during the dry season. Among all the tiger reserves in India, Ranthambhore receives the least amount of rainfall, resulting in limited areas with tall grasses. Furthermore, the park boasts a well-developed network of forest tracks. Together, these factors create ideal conditions for exceptional tiger sightings. Ranthambhore is partitioned into 10 distinct zones, each of which is inhabited by tigers.

Very satisfied, staff warm, boss enthusiastic. Although I didn't book a visit with them, they gave me lots of advice and help. The boss's tiger photo was great too.

Our stay at Jungle View Resort Ranthambore was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm and welcoming. The property is very well managed and maintained with excellent neatness and cleanliness throughout. The swimming pool and outdoor games added extra fun and relaxation to our stay. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed in a hut which was very spacious, with a big washroom and spotless cleanliness. The resort is adjoining the Ranthambore jungle, offering serene natural beauty and a lovely fauna-filled environment that truly enhances the wildlife experience. The staff is extremely cooperative, polite, and professional. A special mention to our host and the owner, Gudu Bhai, who personally welcomed us and made sure our trip was memorable. He helped us arrange our safari smoothly and also guided us for nearby wildlife sightings, which made our Ranthambore visit even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ranthambore and looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and warm hosts. Would definitely love to visit again! 🌿🐅

The most wonderful few days in a stunning location. From the moment we contacted Guddu no request was to big or small. He was able to support us with booking accommodation at the wonderful Jungle View resort. A peaceful and tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the sun and pool between safaris. We completed 3 Cantar safaris (we booked very last minute) everything ran super smoothly. Pick ups, drop offs and explanations… even water for safari. We were blessed with great weather and sighting of sloth bears in all cantars, a leopard, so many deer and other jungle animals. Lots of people saw tigers at resort who were booked in different places etc. honestly the lack of tiger didn’t even dampen our spirits. We’ve travelled India for over five months now and it felt like stepping out of the chaos into a gorgeous haven, where we felt like family and were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. That and the most delicious food!!! The staff were amazing at catering for our dietary needs. Lounging by the pool was great but being joined by the resident kingfisher was surreal. Could not recommend this place enough or anything Guddu offers. I plan on returning to India with my parents and Jungle view will be at the top of my list.

This was an excellent tour and well organised by Guddu. His communication was very good and he managed to secure me a great zone in which I saw four tigers. Highly recommend that if you are considering a safari in Ranthambore you book with Guddu

My tiger safari in Ranthambore with Guddu’s team, along with my stay at Jungle View Resort, ended up being one of the best parts of my entire trip to India. Guddu and his team really know what they’re doing. It felt more like being out there with people who genuinely love what they do and are good at it. They were patient, focused, and made the whole experience feel intentional. Seeing a tiger in the wild here is something else. There’s a build-up, a lot of quiet moments, and then suddenly everything clicks. When it happens, it feels real and not staged, which makes it even better. Jungle View Resort was a great place to stay. It’s super close to the park, which makes those early morning starts easy, and it has a relaxed, jungle lodge feel that fits the experience. Staff were friendly and everything ran smoothly. The road leading to the property is rough but once past that, it's an amazing stay. Overall, everything just worked. No stress, no confusion, just a really well-run setup that lets you enjoy the experience. If you’re heading to Ranthambore, this is a great way to do it.

We have been doing trip with Guddu Bhai since more than 10 years and he has been an outstanding host with deep understanding of forest and needs of season for serious safari members. His team ensures outstanding food is served piping hot with love and affection. Guddu bhai takes lot of efforts to get best out of each trip considering costs of safari at RTR. June trip was no different 8 safari’s - 12 tigers , sloth bear and leopard !! What more one can ask for thanks to planning if Guddu Bhai
