The tour was heavy on driving and light on information. I think the problem was the distance to the first attraction (Peggy’s Cove) is long and the guide wasn’t able to fill the time with general history, which would have been additional context for the attractions themselves. Peggy’s Cove is beautiful, but little more than a photo op. The Titanic grave site feels a little strange, but the history was perhaps more accessible than the other attractions because of the Titanic’s place in pop culture. The Citadel was okay.

This was a helpful and pleasant tour. It was basically as advertised though I expected more from these attractions. I did learn a lot, and I saw some interesting things. My wife and I don’t regret it. I did find the van to be very crowded in uncomfortable as it was at max capacity. But it was not that bad.

Like me, let yourself be surprised by the splendor that Peggy's Cove offers, of course, but also the Citadel and the scenery that unfolds along the way. And if, like me, you are lucky enough to have Emily as your guide, you will be even more fulfilled.

We booked a small group tour and ended up on a private tour. Very educational and interesting. Our guide, Raman, was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and fun facts. And a great driver too!

Peggy’s Cove is uniquely wonderful. Our guide Cameron was very enthusiastic He was timely and informative. The citadel was nice but could have easily been done with a walk from downtown Halifax. The cemetery wasn’t particularly noteable
