From start to finish, this experience was nothing short of incredible. Communication was clear and helpful throughout, which made everything run smoothly. Carlos was fantastic — warm, engaging, and truly passionate about what he does. Spending the day with him and his colleague was a real highlight for both of us. The horse riding was a perfect mix of fun and adventure — challenging at times, but in the best way. It made the experience even more rewarding. We came away with memories we’ll treasure forever. The food was delicious, and drinking straight from the natural spring was such a refreshing and unique touch. A truly unforgettable day — highly recommended. Thank you Carlos. Alan & Sarah Uk

Phenomenal trip. Carlos taught us about the history of Colombia, took us to an authentic restaurant for breakfast, and treated us like family. We felt safe on the horses and the tour through the fields and jungle was beautiful. I highly recommend Carlos to anyone looking for a safe and authentic ranch experience.

Carlos did a private tour and picked us up with my kids and treated us like a family. We saw monkeys and beautiful birds on the horses, they were calm and safe, and Carlos taught us so much about the history of Colombia. Truly one of the best tours we have done ever as a family. This tour is well worth the money and was the highlight of our family trip in Colombia.

This is a very special experience -- it is more than a horseback ride; it is an immersion into the biodiversity of Colombia and the ranching lifestyle that is the backbone of the Medellin, Antioquia region. The tour operator Carlos speaks perfect English, and he can tailor the experience to your skill level on his smart, sure footed, and trustworthy Criollo horses. His family owns an immense ranch and you will pass through many diverse landscapes - rolling green hills, streams and watering holes, cattle grazing land, a tropical rainforest, and tall grass pampas. Tropical birds will circle over your head; have a zoom camera ready for colorful flying macaws, eagles, and parrots. You will not want this all-day experience to end. This is a completely authentic adventure that you will never forget.

Truly an incredible, authentic, awe inspiring experience. This isn’t some tourist ride. This is galloping through plains, crossing streams, trotting through marshes, and navigating jungle. The family is INCREDIBLE and are a pleasure to spend time with. This experience makes you feel connected to the amazing nature of Colombia and the beautiful culture of this region of Colombia.

What a phenomenal experience. This isn’t your average horseback riding excursion - this is the real deal. It was a ton of fun to navigate challenging terrain as an inexperienced rider. Carlos made sure we felt comfortable and safe, while also giving us the liberty to do as we pleased with our horses. He enthusiastically and pridefully shared about the history and culture of the region, and provided traditional Antioquian food to eat. The beauty of the scenery was breathtaking. If you’re looking to get off the beaten path and explore beyond Medellin, this is a must!

In the middle of Colombian nowhere is it... the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch - Colombian style. I rode the ranch all day with three gauchos and didn't even see half of them. That's how huge the property is. You're just taken away as if you belong. Including specialist chatter as to whether the new horse is really good. Infinite freedom – infinite nature – infinite muscle soreness in the legs. It couldn't be better! Yes, the Medellin road is long, but it's worth it. This is a REAL experience. The family of ranch operators is incredibly welcoming and Carlos offers you the carefree package from picking you up in Medellin all day to bringing you back.

This experience was amazing. Carlos was a great guide. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the ranch, about a 3 hour drive. During the drive we made a few stops, first to get some coffee, then our second stop was to get some breakfast, then we got to the ranch and had some refreshments while the horses were being prepped. The ranch is beautiful and the 6 hour ride was broken up a few times to have lunch under the trees, where we saw birds and monkeys. We also had another stop to try the fresh water from the stream that came up to a small well in the ground, and our final stop was to let the horses drink water and we were provided lemonade and coffee. When we finished our tour we were offered another snack and then we headed back to our hotel. It was a very long day, 15 hours total, however a really unique experience.
