What To Expect
Ngorongoro Crater
• 5.00 am picked up from Arusha Tourist Inn. • 7.00 am breakfast at Campsite • You’ll have not less than 6 hours game-drive(four wheel pop-up safari jeep) in Ngorongoro. • Lunch at picnic site at 1.00 pm. • 15.00 pm you’ll start exiting the crater heading to Arusha Town. The park has fertile volcanic land soil which supports many habitats. The park has "Lake Makat”(soda lake) Maasai word meaning "salt” home of various birds' species. Ngorongoro National Park is the only park in Tanzania that provides yearly around view the big 5 probably once in a single day of visiting. Also the park is well known for the existence of Maasai families in circular homesteads called Bomas. Ngorongoro National Park is best site to understand early human evolution pioneered by Mary and Louis Leakey. Other wildlife expected to sight wildebeest, gazelle, golden –jackal, bat-eared foxi, hippopotamus, East African wild dog, African leopard, ungulates, waterbucks, buffalo, eland, serval. Absenties wildlife are giraffe, oribi, topi, spotted hyena, African leopard, chetah, impala which are rarely seen in the park.

The scenery was stunning, the crater itself is breathtaking, and the game viewing was nonstop. Perfect for anyone with limited time who still wants a true safari experience. 🌍 "A Natural Wonder That Took Our Breath Away" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ngorongoro Crater is unlike any place we’ve ever seen. The landscape alone is jaw-dropping—a lush, green paradise surrounded by dramatic crater walls. We did a full-day drive and spotted four of the Big Five in just a few hours! Our guide was so knowledgeable and made sure we made the most of our time. Even though it was just a day trip, it felt like we’d seen a week’s worth of wildlife action. 100% recommended. 📸 "Perfect for Families or First-Time Safari Goers" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had just one day to spare, and the Ngorongoro day trip was ideal. The picnic by the hippo pool was a great touch. Thanks to Bernard’s team for organizing such a smooth and scenic experience. We’d absolutely do it again!

5.00I highly recommend booking your tour trips through Serengeti Safari Booking. The tour operator, his name is Bernard Peter, very professional and very prompt in responding to the zillion questions we had for him. The trip to the Maasai village was so unforgetable and very touching to mingle with the tribal adults and children, dance with them and even share a meal with them. Our guide, Lucas was awesome.
