Get picked up from the hotel in Krabi and drive to Khao Sok National Park on road with short stopovers at the fresh water stream of Tha Pom Klong Song Nam and at the famous Wat Bang Riang, a beautiful hilltop temple on Khao Lan Mountain in Thap Put. Arrive in Khao Sok National Park and enjoy a traditional Thai lunch at the jungle hut near the Sok River where you will also stay for overnight. Check-in at the jungle bungalow and, after a short break, drive to the scenic Khao Sok Viewpoint to take beautiful photos of the amazing panorama. The highlight of this day is a hike into the lush green rainforest of Khao Sok National Park. Trek 3 hours along rainforest trails deep into the valley's stunning scenery lead by an experienced guide who will explain you about the flora and fauna of the oldest evergreen rainforest in Thailand. Head back to the jungle hut for a well-deserved dinner with healthy Thai food. Settle in the cozy bungalow with the noises of the jungle. The next morning, enjoy a rich and vitalising breakfast. Then it's time to put your swimsuit on and gentle float down the Khao Sok River. The journey takes you past towering cliffs and shoals of brightly colored river fish, and includes a stop to swim in the cool waters. Regain your strength with a tasty lunch before heading to the floating raft houses on Cheow Lan Lake. During the cruise you will see amazing landscapes and wonderful nature. Check-in at your raft house and take a refreshing dip in the lake. You will have time to explore the surrounding area by canoe before starting the evening lake safari. You are likely to spot hornbills which are commonly seen in the old-growth jungle trees at the water's edge. Back at the raft house, enjoy a dinner in the local restaurant. Sleep in a simple floating bungalow on Cheow Lan Lake, with fan and shared bath room. After a well-deserved deep slumber, do a sightseeing trip by longtail boat to enjoy the early morning mist on the still lake. It's now time for a rich, vitalise breakfast to strengthen yourself for the next adventure. Follow a mini jungle trail into the breathtaking Pra Kay Petch Cave which winds deep into the interior of Khao Sok National Park. You will be able to spot Jurassic insects, butterflies and rare birds. Next you’ll strap on your headlamps. Prepare to get wet, as the hike extends through the “water cave” (dry season only) and soon becomes a dark wonderland. This is an excellent time to view the many nocturnal species that inhabit this cave (from a safe distance of course) and cool yourself in the river as you explore. Complete your eco adventure with a lunch before heading back to Krabi with drop-off at your hotel at approx. 17.00. This was by far the highlight of the trip in Thailand for my partner and I. The tour locations were absolute magic, we saw an elephant (go for dawn and dusk boat tours!), a black bear, hornbills, monkeys, caves, scorpions, ginormous torpedo shaped, bread-eating fish and a hauntingly beautiful screeching forest (you have to hear it). Unfortunately I dont have these pictures as I was shooting on my film camera but had forgotten to load film in (idiot) so you will just have to trust me - it was insane. What made the trip so amazing was Pradet though. He went out of his way to accomodate to everyone, was sooo funny, wildly knowledgable and proudly showcased his culture and country. Could not recommend this tour enough! Thank you Pradet, you made our trip!! - Josh and Ellen

It was amazing, me and my boyfriend had the best time ever with the best tour guide ever. Our tour guide was called pradet (sorry if we spelt it wrong), and we loved him. He made us feel so comfortable, we had such a laugh with him, and he taught us so much about the place. It was a once in a lifetime experience, staying on the lake was beautiful, and staying in the jungle hut was so cool. You get to do so many good activities, and eat delicious food. All of the staff were amazing, even the drivers made it a good time. We also had an another tour guide for a short time called Mr dean and he was so lovely and looked after us. Really do recommend doing this, we loved every moment thank you so much, from Shauna and herbie.

We were really looking forward this trip & the great itinerary that we had read.we felt a disappointed with the 2 days. We felt that the guide could have been better. I mean more engaging with the group. When we were out on the night safari on the boat, everyone was just sittling looking at one another. He made no attempt to give us information/ history on the beautiful surroundings. The food & shortage of food on the island was very shicking. We had told them in advance of their email that neither of us ate fish. They appeared with fish for the dinner on the 1st evening. They brought us 3 chicken wings ( 2 persons) we asked for more he said the kitchen was v busy. My husband went back up asking for more food. There was definitely a LACK of food for everyone. Considering the price we paid for the 3 dsys. The 2nd night accommodation in the tree house was basic but good & had air con. The food in the restaurant that night was beautiful & plenty. Such nice people. The breakfast was also freshly cooked. Such a difference in the 2 locations. The 2 days was too long Considering there wasn't enough engaging from the guide.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. Pradet and Sampong did a great job showing us around. We really enjoyed the floating houses on the lake and all the food was excellent.

This was our absolute highlight of our time in Thailand. The guides and driver were fantastic, knowledgeable and always catering. Positive vibes all the time. We saw so much in such a short amount of time. I would do this experience for a whole week if there was an option. Expertly planned from start to finish. We avoided crowds and maximised the amount of wildlife we could encounter. At the end we were genuinely sad to move on! Well worth every penny spent. All the best to the team ❤️
