Todai-ji Temple

5.00We had a great day with Mari. Mari was able to adjust the tour to take advantage of the rain. As a result we spent some time admiring a Zen garden which was very peaceful and beautiful. Mari also had some great suggestions for places to eat in Kyoto (try the restaurants on the top two floors of the department store above the train station.) As well as some suggestions for our free day in Kyoto. Some of our tour guides sounded like they had "Googled" the sites that we were visiting and were parroting the information. Mari really knew her stuff and could provide colour, detail and background about what we were seeing and doing.

5.00Meri did a wonderful job guiding us to the different locations. She was very accommodating and provided us fun knowledge about the various locations we went to. The locations were exactly as planned and each had their own charm.
Nara is so worth the trip!

5.00We had a great day with Meri. She was sweet and kind and very knowledgeable. Her English was great and she made sure we had an amazing day. She even took extra time to make sure our kids got a lunch they enjoyed! I would highly recommend this excursion if you have very limited time in the Kyoto area and want to experience some amazing Japanese history and culture.
