  Amazing private tour with Tong. We could not have wished for a kinder, positive and friendly guide. He had so much knowledge and balanced the right amount of information with times to relax too. Cannot recommend Tong enough and the rice crackers are a must try in Chiang Mai region.

  I had a wonderful day. My guide, Tong, was fantastic - he even brought fresh made rice crackers for me. He took me to a local market, to a temple where there were horse and carriage rides and to the unseen temple. The unseen temple is at the top of a mountain, and you have to do a lot of climbing to get to that temple, but it's worth the effort. My guide suggested I go to the Saturday night street market that night. He dropped me off at the market. Tong could not have been more helpful.

  I had a wonderful day trip. I went to a local market and two temples. Tong was my guide/driver. He was outstanding. Not only was he an excellent guide and driver, but he provided so many little extras from fresh crispy rice crackers to cold drinks to a cold towel to freshen myself after hiking up the mountain to the hidden temple. He even made the suggestion that I go to the Saturday night street market and dropped me off there. I feel so lucky to have made this day trip and to have had Tong help me.

  I had an enjoyable time with my mother. Yut was a very chill guy and told a lot of interesting stories about Thailand and Lanna culture. He also shared about his life and experiences and we had a great time listening to what he had to share. He arrived on time and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip and made sure we had enough rest and water/food. Very nice and chill guy. When I come back again I hope Yut gets to be my tour guide again :)

  We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Tong as our guide for Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phrachomklao Rachanuson and Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Tong is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history and cultural significance of each site, but he also shares stories and insights in a way that’s engaging, warm, and easy to connect with. He managed the logistics smoothly and made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey—offering just the right balance of structure and flexibility. Climbing up to Wat Chaloem Phrakiat was unforgettable, and having Tong explain the background and symbolism behind the mountain-top pagodas really brought the place to life. At Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, his passion for Thai heritage shone through, making us appreciate the site on a much deeper level. It’s rare to find someone who can combine professionalism, humor, and genuine care the way Tong does. We left the tour feeling inspired, enriched, and very lucky to have had him as our guide. • A Terrific Tour with Tong

  I highly recommend taking this tour. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and allowed us to visit some beautiful sights in the Lampang Province. Our guide, Tong, was sensational. He was full of knowledge and there to help us every step of the way (literally, in the case of getting to the Sky Pagodas). He truly made the day trip a delight, pointing out interesting sights, sharing history and fun facts, and even teaching us some Thai. Wat Phra That Lampang Luang was much less crowded than other temples we saw on our trip and was a striking representation of a Lanna style, with many unique design features. Although Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phrachomklao Rachanuson may be newer, the views were spectacular, and it made for a serene retreat. The lunch spot was also a great pick, allowing us to enjoy local dishes with stunning scenery. In addition, the car was very comfortable, and both Tong and the driver made sure we were safe and happy throughout the trip. Thanks for making our visit so special!
