What To Expect
One hour in the saddle is the ideal way to enjoy the majestic Western Colorado Rocky Mountains! From the stables, you will climb in elevation and cross a natural mesa meadow which provides opportunities to overlook the Colorado River winding lazily through Glenwood Canyon. As you leave the meadow and continue to ascend, look for wildlife and take in amazing panoramas of aspen groves, cedar forests, and the surrounding mountains and canyons. Views of the valleys and walls of spectacular Glenwood Canyon. No experience needed, suitable for children as young as 7.

5.00It was wonderful. I have never ridden a horse, and our guide was very informative and attentive. My water bottle fell out of my pocket on the ride. I told her because I felt like I defiled the land. She assured me she would find it, but inquired if I would be okay without water. So kind.

5.00Takes some time to get started but ride is worth it. Horses are pretty solid well mannered. Non riders seemed to do well. We enjoyed being “passengers” and not having to actively ride. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Trail guides were friendly and chill. Lots of opportunities for pictures.

5.00We took an afternoon ride up the mountains with Taylor as our guide. We are pretty inexperienced with horseback riding and really had no problems. Beautiful views and animals. Great way to spend an afternoon!

5.00The Bair ranch was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Kids had a great time. TripAdvisor was not so helpful. FYI if by chance your credit card needs to be changed they cannot accommodate you. You have to cancel and rebook at a high rate it possible. Direction were never sent, and waver link didn’t work. Other company I use for other activity was wonderful. Again Bair Ranch was fantastic.
