Offering the visit of Seven Churches of Revelation, the destination consists of the Western side of Turkey and is based on St. Paul’s journey on the prophetic visions of St John the Apostle. Sites of the seven churches revealed in visions, Smyrna, Thyatira, Pergamon, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Ephesus will be visited respectively. The spiritual atmosphere, blended with ancient Greco-Roman and Christian architecture is the key point of our visit. Amongst them, are Pergamon’s Asklepion and Red Basilica, Sardis Gymnasium & Synagogue, Ephesus’ legendary Celsus Library, and its colossal theater is some of the exemplary sites of visit during our tour. The acquaintance with Turkish Cuisine during lunchtime and the relaxing experience of the Cleopatra thermal pool visit are amongst the highlights of our tour. More in detail information about the sites can be found in our tour program. Optional excursions such as Pamukkale Balloon Ride and boat rides are also possible on demand.

Pergamon - Tyratira
Accommodations

Pergamon Ancient City
We are leaving from Izmir, visit to another place of St. John. Early from morning to morning, we travel through Pergamon. Where we will visit the place of Asclepius.
Akhisar
We continue through Tyratira (Akhisar). It is a town in the province of Manisa.
Sardis - Philadelphia - Pamukkale - Laodicea - Hierapolis
Accommodations
Head to Pamukkale. Overnight at Pamukkale

Dinner
Dinner is at Pamukkale Hotel.
Sardis (Sardes)
Our next stop will be Sardes. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Lydia, where we found the oldest synagogue in the Aegean region.
Alasehir
We finished our day with the visit of Philadelphia (Alaşehir), its meaning is friendship.
After the hierapolis, we will visit the city of laodicea where the Jewish community existed.
Hierapolis & Pamukkale
Optionally, we can visit a city called Hierapolis. It developed during the Roman period. Where we see the travertines and Cleopatra's pool.
Ephesus and around
Accommodations
Overnight at Izmir Hotel.
Ephesus Ancient City
We left through the Ephesus Region, where Saint Paul attempted his speech for the inhabitants of Ephesus. We are going to see the largest theater in the province of Asia Minor.
Selcuk
Optionally, you can visit the tomb of Saint John.
Virgin Mary's House
Optionally, you can visit the house of Virgin Mary where she lived for a period of her life.
Izmir, Turkey
Agora Open Air Museum
We visit the church of St. Polycarp who was the student of St. Paul and was protector of the city of Smyrna.
Depend on your departure flight, transfer from Izmir-to-Izmir airport.

5.00The three day Seven Churches of the Revelation tour truly exceeded my expectations. Traveling in a small group created a warm, intimate atmosphere and allowed our guide to give each of us more attention at every stop. Especially during the visits to Smyrna, Thyatira, and Pergamon, the detailed information and personal insights our guide shared really brought the history to life. Since the itinerary stays away from typical tourist crowds, we were able to explore each site peacefully. The spiritual atmosphere of these places, combined with the feeling of being immersed in history, made the experience truly unforgettable. The accommodations and transportation were also very comfortable; the schedule was well-balanced and never felt rushed. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enrich themselves both culturally and spiritually. It’s definitely a tour I would consider joining again!

5.00Our guide Cenk went the extra mile to introduce our family to beautiful and rich-in-culture Turkey. From the seven churches history, to local churches and mosques, to great local food. We really enjoyed the extras: walking in the hot waters of the travertines, hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale, and thermal pool at Lycus River hotel.
