  • Remarkable Trip of a Lifetime

We had an unforgettable time in Morocco, largely thanks to our wonderful driver, Abdule. He was an excellent and safe driver, a joy to spend time with, and incredibly knowledgeable. He truly made our experience special. Our guides were outstanding. They spoke very good English, were very knowledgeable and delightful to spend time with. The cities and places we visited were unique in each their own way and we would not have wanted to miss seeing any of them. Chefchaouen was particularly beautiful and serene and we wish we would have spent another day there. Our time in the desert is something we will never forget and was truly awe inspiring. The crew at the camp were delightful, enthusiastic and entertaining. We will never forget how Moroccans made us feel very welcome by sharing their cultural and heritage with us. They are proud of their country as they should be. Overall, we had an incredible trip and truly appreciate all the effort that went into making it happen. We would highly recommend Best of Morocco to anyone.

Fantastic! So much to see and learn about this amazing country. Between our amazingly skilled driver and our knowledgeable private tour guides we visited, saw, and learned a lot about Morocco and its people. Food? The food was so good, I think we ate our way around the country. 'Best of Morocco Tours' was great to work with. Even before we left for the trip, the tour operator was quick to respond to any questions we had and took care of any concerns promptely. While in country, they checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely and followed up with during the trip to make sure everything was good. They were kind enough to arrange a great New Years dinner (something we didn't think about) for my family and took care of any issues that came up while in country. We had a great time. Thank you for a memorable trip Best of Morocco Tours!

  • Absolutely Fantastic Moroccan vacation!

I don’t want to shortcut my review and would highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys culture, architecture, handicrafts etc. at their own pace. There is so much to see and the tour company was very easy to work with. Four of us 50+ decided on a whim and booked this tour since it was available - literally the day before leaving from Toronto. We weren’t sure of what to expect, but the tour company “Best of Moroccan Tours” Waleed and Ayoub were so organized and our “EXCELLENT” driver Hicham made the trip a truly great experience! Hicham was with us from the pickup at the airport till the last day and made sure we felt safe everywhere without having to worry about anything. I haven’t mentioned much about the food below but it was Tajine all the way besides Tanjia and everything else in between… especially the refreshing Moroccan tea! Day 1 Casablanca to Marrakech – we stayed at a Riad (our first time) which was such a great experience - basically a quaint culturally designed mansion with several rooms and a centre courtyard. We loved every moment of it - everything was so well designed, colorful and beautifully lit – like an Aladdin theme! The people were very helpful, friendly and simple. Breakfast was great and stay was simply awesome. They have all the basic conveniences of a hotel though not a pool or exercise room (at least not at the one we stayed here) … then again you would lose the charm of the local culture. Day 2 Marrakech City Tour – Lots to see and the souks were bustling with activity. Ofcourse there was shopping though we didn’t plan for it. The street we lived on looked crowded and we weren’t sure of our safety - However, our driver Hicham assured it was a safe place and we ended up eating at the restaurants sitting by the road side – was such a great experience – great food and we never had any issues with all the grills, fruit juices etc. Day 3 Marrakech to Kasbah ait benhaddou & overnight in Ouarzazate There was so much driving this day but the terrain is so different from one place to another. Our driver Hicham warned us the Kasbah is for strong people and we’re glad the ladies decided to go down into the valley. The wind gusts were too strong on top and it was scary because we couldn’t take a single step forward for a long time while on top or we’d lose balance – don’t expect North American safety railings! We didn’t think great of the Movie Studio at Ourzazate, but the stay was good. Day 4 Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga The Todra Gorges – just showed up suddenly and it was mind blowing! The stay was literally at the border of the Sahara and we did a short camel ride. The Berber guy at the Riad Azou was very entertaining – pictures are awesome! Day 5 Merzouga - Fes After a bit of driving suddenly the desert changes to agriculture land and then we’re in a major city – McDonald’s and all! Day 6 Fes city tour : This day the guide took us through the city – decent tour. Day 7 Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen Volubilis – the Roman city in the middle of nowhere… just totally amazing and breath taking! The guide explained everything there is to the architecture and what is still being discovered. OMG the blue city Chefchaouen was totally amazing – photographs galore. Initially we weren’t sure it was safe with all the narrow streets in front of people’s houses and then we realized it is a very safe place and the people are very friendly. Our stay was in such an exotic Riad – the décor, food etc. were amazing Day 8 Chefchaouen - Tangier - Rabat Tangier was beautiful by the sea. We hired a guide Abdul who was worth it in understanding the grotto even though it was small. Rabat was interesting at the mausoleum and also the viewpoint – however the guide was quite useless and seemed to be in a hurry. There were some teenagers hanging around looking to get money from tourists and it wasn’t very comfortable. Better to be aware and not use their hospitality/ accompaniment, since they demand money. The views were great though. Day 9 Rabat - Casablanca The Hassan II Mosque was out of this world and is a must see – totally mind blowing! Our driver Hicham made sure we had the timings correct for visit outside the prayer timings. Casablanca is busy, but interesting in it’s own way – great way to end our vacation.

This is absolutely the best trip I have done. Every day was a WOW day. The scenery was stunning and totally unexpected. There were unplanned surprises along the way which were accommodated effortlessly. The small group was taken care of admirably. Lots of different types of accommodation but all highly acceptable. The tour manager Ayoub were professional and quick acting on all our requests.

Recently my partner and I spent two weeks travelling in Morocco. We booked our Morocco tour with BOM TOURS. The personalised package that we booked with Ayoub Sadeddine the manager, turned out to be exactly what we wanted. The tour was very good value that could not be matched by any Australian group that we know of. When we were organising the trip there were some key places we knew we wanted to go old's medina of Fes, golden dunes of Merzouga, Marrakech... The result was a smooth itinerary that was a lot of fun, covered the key sites we were keen to see but also allowed us time to relax. Our driver for most of the time was Mohamed who was fantastic and made us feel very safe on the hectic Moroccan streets.

Every part of this trip makes a special type of memory. What’s important that all are nice memorable moments. During these 10 days in Morocco one can see a variety of terrains and historical places. One day you are in a very busy narrow streets traditional market (Marrakesh Souk), and the next you can enjoy the nice quite and serene desert of (Marzoka). There are many things to see and enjoy in the mountains of the blue city (Chefchaouen). The most important element in making this tour a success is our driver (Mr. Hicahm Lemrani) who knows where to go and what to see. And also Mr. Ayoub Sadeddine, the trip organizer and tour operator. Thy were both helpful and flexible to make any adjustments as required to meet our needs. In simple words, this excellent tour is only successful because of the tour operator and the experience of our trip companion and, of course, the beauty of Morocco.

Our 12 days Morocco tour was an incredible experience with a great range of activities and locations. The itinerary was great, never too much or too little over each day. I loved the local involvement in the trip such as our dinner in The old city of Fes, the breakfast with Nomads in the Atlas mountains and the camel ride in Merzouga dunes. Everything was brilliant, we did so many great activities and there were none that I didn’t enjoy. We always had enough to do but there wasn’t too much pressure with too many activities either. Hajar was an amazing leader, she always shared her knowledge and always joined in the fun as part of the group also. Our local guides were great and so welcoming. My trip to Morocco was definitely the best holiday I have ever been on, and I will definitely join more with Best of Morocco. Each part of the trip was so different and exciting with so many opportunities to meet local people, with a great range of activities spread over the trip. My only complaint is that « I couldn’t stay longer! ».
