I had an amazing vacation with a great guide during my trip to Sri Lanka. We were looking for a local travel agency to show us around the most beautiful places in the country and we chose Ceylon Classic Tours. It turned out to be the best possible choice and I want to share the details with you. The agency assigned us the best guide we could have hoped for. He was willing to come to our hotel on our first day and introduced himself professionally before leading us through the entire itinerary. He was always available to answer any questions we had and shared interesting facts about the country, culture, and his personal experiences in the places we visited. He had a great sense of humour and was very personable, making him the perfect companion for our trip. If you want to experience an amazing journey like we did, I highly recommend requesting a guide named Kasun. I'm grateful for all the experiences we shared together and I highly recommend Mr. Kasun and Ceylon Classic Tours to every traveler.

I recently traveled solo to Sri Lanka for 10 days and had an amazing experience with Ceylon Classic Tours and my driver, Kasun. Throughout the trip, Kasun was incredibly kind, friendly and very helpful, which made me feel safe and comfortable. He also provided a lot of useful suggestions for attractions and places to eat, and was flexible in accommodating my needs. The car was always kept clean, air conditioned and secure, which made the journey even more comfortable. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend Ceylon Classic tours and Mr Kasun to my friends and family for their future trips.

I truly cannot find the words to speak highly enough of Lishan and Ceylon Classic Tours! You will not find a better or more caring, fun, affordable and knowledgeable tour operator in Sri Lanka! My tour was so brilliantly planned. In 10 days, I saw the most majestic jungles, mind-blowing waterfalls, scenic mountains, beautiful hillsides, incredible safaris, pristine beaches, historical landmarks and bustling cities full of bars, shopping and incredible food. Every accommodation Ceylon Tours put me up in took my breath away. Their years of knowledge and expertise meant they could give the best advice about dining, shopping, cultural hubs, ayurvedic centres, historical sites and hidden local gems. Lishan is very well-connected so he can show you the best of Sri Lanka at an extremely discounted price. His organisational skills are impeccable. I sent him a list of my favourite hotels and although a couple were over the price of my package, within an hour, he had already called, booked them and sent my itinerary. Many of the biggest tour operators in Sri Lanka look to Lishan for advice. I even met a group touring with a different company and their driver was asking for Lishan's advice on planning his guest’s itinerary! Unlike other companies, Ceylon Tours doesn’t collect commission from any hotels or sites they recommend. So you can trust that their advice comes from a place of honesty and expertise. I was in Sri Lanka for a month. So in the middle of my trip, I wanted to stay in Kandy for 7 days by myself before resuming the rest of my tour. Kandy is Lishan's hometown. So over my week stay there, as a gesture of goodwill and without charging a penny, he and his childhood friend, Dilshan, gave me tuk tuk rides every day around the city, showing me the best local markets, cafes and cultural shows. They took me on cliff-side drives overlooking miles on end of jaw-dropping scenery. We went on a six-hour round trip to Hunas Falls and a beautiful lake in the mountains where they used to go as children. It was simply magical-like out of a movie. These are the hidden gems Ceylon Tours allows you to experience. They make your trip more unique and memorable than simply taking you on the same beaten path that every other tourist goes on. This was my first solo trip as a 24-year-old female traveller and, on my birthday, Lishan organised a cake to be delivered to my room, gifted me a rock engraved with my photo, and bought me birthday lunch at a lovely local café. Not wanting me to celebrate alone, he invited me to Dilshan’s house for dinner. His wife cooked a delicious meal and their families cut cake and sang happy birthday to me. Lishan promised me before my tour that I would go as a guest, stay as a friend, and leave as family. He delivered above and beyond on that promise. I had the most incredible trip full of laughter, adventure and unforgettable memories. I forged true community and friends for life in Sri Lanka thanks to Ceylon Tours and I will be forever grateful to Lishan, Dilshan, and my drivers, Manju and Samee for these once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
