We had a fantastic time with Ashik learning about the UAE. He picked us up from our hotel in Dubai and we headed straight to the first of the 5 Emirates. As we drove, Ashik pointed out interesting sights and gave us lots of opportunities to ask questions and customize our experience. In each of the 5 Emirates we learned about its unique place/role in the UAE. The museums we visited were very interesting and the scenery along the route was fantastic, especially driving through the mountains. We definitely recommend this tour for first time visitors to the UAE or to anyone who has never spent time outside of Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

The tour of sites in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate, including Jebel Jais, was excellent. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was excited to show us around. This tour is listed only if you search from Ajman -- I suggest it be listed from Dubai -- which is where I started from. Also, it might be a good idea if the tour mentions up-front that there will be photographs to optionally purchase. In any case, the tour itself was well worthwhile.

I did this tour with my mother and what can I say? We are absolutely thrilled. Our tour guide explained wonderfully and made a short stop on the way so we could feed a camel. To escape the colorful and noisy hustle and bustle in Dubai, I can only recommend this tour to the mountains.
