From the moment we landed in Entebbe, Alive Africa Adventures made us feel welcome, safe, and completely taken care of. Our 10-day journey through Uganda was beyond anything we had imagined — a perfect blend of breathtaking wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural experiences. Our guide was not just knowledgeable about every park, animal, and bird we saw, but also had a wonderful sense of humor and patience, making every day on the road an absolute joy. We tracked chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, went on thrilling game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and came face-to-face with the incredible mountain gorillas in Bwindi — truly the highlight of our trip! The lodges Alive Africa Adventures arranged for us were charming, comfortable, and always in beautiful locations. Each one had friendly staff and delicious meals that gave us a taste of Uganda’s hospitality. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and perfect for photography, and our driver navigated the bumpy roads with skill and care. Beyond the wildlife, we loved visiting local communities, learning about Uganda’s diverse cultures, and enjoying boat rides on the Kazinga Channel and Lake Mburo. Every single day brought a new “wow” moment — from sunrise over the savannah to the powerful roar of Murchison Falls. Alive Africa Adventures went above and beyond to tailor the trip to our interests, and their attention to detail made it seamless from start to finish. If you are thinking about visiting Uganda, don’t hesitate — and book with this amazing company. You’ll leave with full memory cards, a full heart, and a deep appreciation for this beautiful country.
