What To Expect
Seljalandsfoss waterfall
In our journey we head out to a beautiful waterfall called Seljalandsfoss along with local secret spots. We will have an option of walking behind the waterfall. Picture perfect waterfall often called the Eye of the sky.
We then drive towards the valley of the Thors to view the eruption site of Eyjafjallajökull.At Þorvaldseyri you get to know the true spirit of a local Icelander as when most people think about the devastation from the volcanic eruption they thinks about opportunities and positive angles.

5.00We took a several day tour with Sergio García Palomares as our guide. He was an excellent driver—even taking us safely through a storm or two. This trip was so worth it for the golden circle, south coast, and more. The glacial ice caves and blue lagoon were highlights. It truly pays to have an expert guide. Thank you, Sergio!!

5.00We used Icelimo for our 2 days South Coast Tour and had a fabulous time. Dagur Freyr Ingason was our guide and driver and I would highly recommend him. Dagur picked us up in the latest luxury 4x4 from our hotel in Reykjavik. The weather was terrible very strong winds and lots of rain. I am glad I had booked Icelimo as I would have probably turned around after 30 mins. We hardly had any visibility. But Dagur knew the area inside out and was confident that he could manage. We saw some amazing places with him. Day 1 we visited Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Reynisfjara but Dagur also took us off the beaten path trough a crevice to the most amazing hidden waterfall and he went off roading with us to Hjoerleifsoefdi aka as the Yoda Cave. We spent a night in Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon and then went on to see the Chrystal Blue Ice Cave the next morning. Thanks to Dagur's impeccable planing we were the first visitors there and had the cave all to ourselves, then went on to see the Glacier Lagoon the village of Vik and Dyrholaey. 5.00We traveled with a group of five people for four days touring Reykjavik, Golden Circle, and the South Coast and cannot recommend IceLimo more highly and especially our guide, Jon Mar. We made our arrangements with Ryan, who was extremely, accommodating, and flexible in working on a customized tour with us, including long days to see everything that we wanted to see. Jon Mar was fantastic -- he was extremely capable as a guide, flexible, fun, and worked around the weather expertly to maximize what we could see as comfortably as possible, showing us amazing things all along the way. I have a lot of experience with private tours and guides world-wide, and our tour in Iceland with IceLimo was among the very best I have ever had anywhere.

5.00We did the Golden Circle and Southern Coast tour. We had a wonderful time with our guide and driver Dagur. He took great care of us and made sure we got to see everything we wanted. The Mercedes minibus was very comfortable and we all loved the free WiFi. The black sand beach and island was the best stop. We got to see puffins and so many beautiful waterfalls. We told Dagur what was important to us and trusted him to take care of the rest. All of his recommendations were great. Worth every penny!

5.00I chose Icelimo for a private tour of the South Coast end of November 2018 and was very impressed with their services. We were a group of 3 adults and I originally was planning on driving myself to the South Coast with a rental car. However, as I got closer to the travel dates, watching the weather conditions, wanting the ability to eat and drink at anytime without the stress of driving carefully and being alert all the time, and missing out on an expert guide's orientation/stories about the area, and remind myself that I am on a holiday so I need to enjoy myself, I decided to book a private day tour. As I researched several private tour companies in the Reykjavik area, I chose Icelimo Luxury Travel based on their great website content including ability to securely pay online, vehicle fleet, reviews and the most important part - ability to customize the tour with their expert Travel Designer Ryan. After making the online booking on the Icelimo website, I immediately received an email from Ryan describing what the day would look like and who the driver/guide would be. I was very impressed with his offer to tailor the stops and sights based on my needs. After re-reading the details of the stops and the map of their Secrets of the South Coast tour, I decided to skip a couple of stops based on interest including a geothermal plant/volcano site, and requested adding a couple of new stops including Vik. We were picked up promptly by Dagur - our wonderful chauffeur and guide for the day - in a Mercedes S class luxury sedan. Dagur was amazing! He was so informative, full of Iceland history. Dagur felt like a family member or a cousin, who is reliable, with a warm smile and very accommodating. I think Dagur’s biggest strength is his pleasant demeanor combined with his Iceland knowledge. He is the ideal private tour guide for any group. He really knew when to walk with us, for how long and when to backoff and wait in the car. The South Coast has stunning landscapes. We ended up going to around 5 or 6 places including the waterfalls, black sand beach and the beautiful Cape of Dyrhólaey, that you see on top of a cliff, and get to only by a car. A large bus would not be able to go up. As Dagur described the surrounding area, he suggested a stop at Sólheimajökull Glacier that would take a few minutes to walk to. So worth it! Besides being a great safe driver, Dagur also put up with my family’s requests to make unplanned stops along the way - like wanting to pet the kind and friendly Icelandic horses, and us wanting to stop at a grocery store at the end of a long day for some food items needed for the next day trip that would start early morning. Thank you Dagur, Ryan and the company boss Omar for a wonderful and memorable experience. I was very pleased with Icelimo and also used them for private airport transfers and a separate Golden Circle private tour. I highly recommend Icelimo. If you are concerned about the high cost, it is worth every penny. The is the right way to see Iceland!!

5.00We brought a group of thirteen to Iceland, and hired Icelimo for tours of both the Golden Circle and South Coast. Our driver both days was friendly, accommodating and incredibly helpful. While both tours were wonderful, I was blown away by the Secrets of the South Coast. This was our best day in Iceland. The Glacier Lagoon boat tour was breathtaking! The waterfalls gorgeous! The tour takes all day, but it was worth every minute.
