Yoshi is a super guide who took us on an unforgettable walking tour of Kyoto. He took care of all our needs and requests. It was the best of the five different tours that we had I Kyoto in the past decade or so. Highly recommended.

Mieko truly made our Kyoto and over all Japan experience amazing! Kyoto was the 2nd leg of our Japan trip. Starting at Okinawa > Kyoto > Osaka > Tokyo. She stated off our trip in the best way possible. Please do yourself a favor and book with Mieko. Her English was amazing and she can even speak French as well. She was very accommodating, asked us what we did and did not wish to see or do and filled in the areas with great recommendations. She is a local of Kyoto which was very important to us. Not only did we get to see all the major attractions but she was a joy to be around And converse with. My wife and I are so grateful we were paired with Mieko and we highly suggest you do the same. She gave us the history of each location, explained local traditions and superstitions, and took some great photos of us. We had lunch with Mieko and enjoyed some fresh sushi and tempura. She constantly checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay, needed water, or a break. We did take public transportation on this tour, mainly trains and a few cabs but she was able to teach us the basics of the trains and how to navigate the city. She gave us some lovely suggestions on what we can do the following 2 days in Kyoto and left us with a very helpful map of he city and main attractions. We are so thankful we got lucky with Mieko, do yourself a favor and please book/request her. Thank you Mieko for making our time in Kyoto. You left us with a lasting impression and amazing memories. Arigato gozaimasu.

Guides make or break a tour... our guide Fuji was the BEST! We went to all the marvelous sites, saw splendid temples and shrines, loved all of it....Fuji guided and directed us to the best spots for pictures, a delicious lunch, and generally took care of us--at our own pace! This tour is expensive because it is private tour, but it was worth it!

This tour really packs a lot into one day. However, it’s a great way to hit the highlights of Kyoto if your time is limited. Our tour guide Tammy was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and professional and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable tour.
