This tour will take you to not only tourist attractions, but also to nice Japanese-style streets and back alleys. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Many places in Kyoto such as temples and taxis do not accept credit cards. Please be sure to have some Japanese yen ready before joining the tour.
＊On very hot summer days, it is recommended to change to Plan B course, which requires fewer steps and takes you to Chishakuin Temple( a hidden gem indoor temple) and Sanjusangendo Temple(famous for a forest of Buddhist statues).
The cab can accommodate four people. 3 guests + a guide, so if there are 4 guests, two taxis are required.
Important: Guests arriving by cruise ship must be able to travel to Kyoto Station on their own.
What To Expect
Kinkakuji Temple
You can see the shining golden pavilion which used to be the political center of the Shogun(the head of Samurai warrior).It is one of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites in Kyoto.
Bamboo Forest Street
You will go through the Bamboo forest. This beautiful bamboo forest appears many times in the advertisement poster of Kyoto.

5.00First of all we had an amazing kind, informative, and pleasant guide (Naru) to spend the day with. Naru provided one of the best tour experiences I have encountered (and I have been on many). There is plenty of walking - but well worth the experience. It is not strenuous - but you should be in fair shape - and wear comfortable shoes. This was a wonderful way to experience much of Kyoto while only there for two nights. We had fun😃

5.00Yoshi was our tour guide and we had the most amazing experience! He was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Our day was beautiful and informative as well. He had outstanding knowledge and was a wonderful communicator. He took us to the best ramen restaurant we have ever been to and it was away from other tourists or lines. He knew all the secret and best places to take photos and we really felt we got to know Kyoto. He went out of his way to make our day so special. An absolutely 5 star day and 5 star guide!

5.00A wonderful private tour with Kumi. We met at the kitaoji station and She showed us all the sights. We were their on our honeymoon and Kumi even took some photos of us throughout the trip. We saw a lot of sights and Kumi even made some changes to our liking after asking a few questions of us. She also took us to a great lunch spot that I enjoyed and the food was great. The tour exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this tour with Kumi.

5.00Was in Japan on our honeymoom. My wife and I had a wonderful Tour with Kumi. She was attentive and my wife and I learned a lot while exploring all the great sights. She also took us to a great lunch spot that was surprisingly great as well. Saw so much and she even took a lot of photos of my wife and I for memories.
