Surrounded by the raw and natural beauty of Lapland, Finland. If you long for a thrilling experience, you have to join us for an adventure with the husky team. Have you ever ridden an open husky sled? The kinship is only vague. And you will hold the reins, too. Yes, you will be the musher (the driver) of the husky slеd. The only requirement is to be more than 18 years old. Of course, the youngsters may be passengers in the back seat. Your fairy tale..”dashing through the snow in a husky open sleigh” begins. Instead of bells the dogs’ barking will jingle, while they enthusiastically follow the trail through the crude, white-clad Lapland forests. It’s really fantastic, a dream come true.

Our guide with a minivan will take you from the hotel in Rovaniemi to visit a husky kennel. There you will be instructed how to lead the sled safely. And you will be assigned a sled only after they check your clothes – they must be warm enough and windproof to survive the arctic temperatures, combined with the speed of the dogs. And your fairy tale..”dashing through the snow in a husky open sleigh” begins. Instead of bells the dogs’ barking will jingle, while they enthusiastically follow the trail through the crude, white-clad Lapland forests. It’s really fantastic, a dream come true. When the expedition is over, you will sit by the open fire, tired of positive emotions, and listen to the mushers in the kennel, who will share how they live and train the dogs. They will gladly answer all your questions.

It is some distance from Rovaniemi which was unexpected but not a problem. The husky experience was great though I did not realize I would be driving the huskies myself, I expected to be a passenger. Our drivers who picked us up and returned us home were excellent. Very good driver and extremely friendly and professional

Incredible experience riding through the forest. Wonderful team from the pickup to the excursion leader. It was wonderful to say hello to the dogs after the run. Wonderful communication as well. Would recommend to anyone!

This was such a bucket-list experience, and we’re so glad we booked it. Our group of 11 had the best time! We got picked up from our place in Rovaniemi, and both guides were super friendly and fun. It took about an hour and 20 minutes to get to the husky farm. We got to spend time with the dogs first, and then headed out into the forest. The ride was amazing, sliding through snowy trees and even across a frozen lake. We were split between three sledges, which worked perfectly for our group. Honestly, such a great experience for families. Easy communication via email and WhatsApp. Highly recommend.

Didnt appear very organised when arrived at park. No information about dogs or activity given. Just placed on a sled and told how to brake. On return, nobody came to talk to us or offer any info they just moved on to the next group. No puppies or feeding. An hour and half drive to get to the park. Very expensive but a must do when in Finland.

Where do I start...? Driver Monika, picked up us right one time. Besides the freezing rain she took care of us and drove us safe all the way to the PELLO where had a once in a lifetime experience. Once we arrived in the Husky kennel experience we were given clear instructions on how to drive / handle the sled. Dogs are really powerful and it was a magical experience overall. Spent close to an hour running thru Lapland's pristine forest being pulled by 4 beautiful and strong working huskies. Once ride was done we got to play with the dogs and hace the classic hot blueberry juice and cookies. Money is nothing compared to what you get out of this. Just book it!

Long drive to get there (middle of nowhere!) but worth it. Nice tour guide, and lovely husky/farm owners. Very authentic, and great Sled ride though the forest and then onto the frozen lake.

As a family of four with two children aged 4 and 6 we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend anyone to book it! The dogs were incredibly friendly and we were able to spend time with them after the ride to pet them. We were also able to capture great photos which the woman running it was able to take on our own phones to remember the experience.

We had the absolute best time on our husky adventure! It exceeding expectations even in the -27 degrees temperature! The staff were very attentive to us making sure we had suitable clothing and checking the kids out. Take lots of hand warmers! The dogs were so friendly, very well looked after and absolutely loved it, they were getting annoyed with us when we stopped 😂 the scenery is like something from a film it’s amazing. 100% recommend we had a fabulous day

We had a great husky ride today! Everything went smoothly from communication to transportation to/from the kennel to the ride itself. They let us borrow extra gear since it was a cold day. The route was beautiful through the forest and we warmed up with warm blueberry tea after. Highly recommend as a classic Lapland experience!
