We really are fortunate here; the River Avon is a slow, winding, dreamy escape of a river that meanders away from roads, towns and the noise of civilisation into a quiet wilderness full of creatures large and small. This is more than just your average 'learn to SUP' session, this is a complete experience giving you the skills to escape into nature safely on a paddleboard so you can explore these natural spaces from this unique perspective. Ready to dive in and re-wild yourself?

James was a great teacher and the lesson was really fun. I was able to stand up more easily and paddle further than I had thought I would. The river is lovely Defford too.

I’d already been on a group safari with a pal which was a blast. My friend had been very nervous but really enjoyed herself and will go again. The private tour with Alex was excellent and I learnt a lot. It’s a perfect way to relax whilst exercising in a beautiful environment. I wish I’d known about Alex and James before.
Great 1-2-1 tuition.

Great tuition with a friendly instructor who put me at ease. The location and facilities are ideal. They worked hard to fit me in when it was needed to cancel due to high wind.

Excellent 1:1 coaching. It helped with my confidence on the board and I learned to self rescue. Alex was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this.

Technically I did not go solo. My dog Bingo came along and Alex looked after and instructed us both in a fabulous manner. Neither of us had ever been on a paddle board before and we both loved it due to her easy confident and kind manner. We will be back to introduce others to her and paddleboarding

Wow what an experience. Considering first time doing this plenty of time on the water to enjoy your new skills. Alex is fab, lovely welcome and friendly and fun throughout your time there, explains everything well and is always on stand by to assist. We had loads of time on the water and Alex fills you with so much confidence and technics that you are up and running in no time. We just had the best time and would love to rebook to experience the Safari now. 10 out of 10 experience
