Annapurna Base Camp passes through many villages of different ethnic communities having different culture and lifestyle with terraced fields to forests of rhododendron and bamboo with a wide range of flora and fauna and eventually the alpine heights. It provides non-stop natural diversity with lovely mountain views and Himalayan landscape. The sub-tropical forests come alive with an immense variety of bird life, waterfalls thunder down from steep cliff sides and monkeys chatter from the tree-tops.
Trekking higher into the green, terraced hills you will wander through ancient, mossy Rhododendron forests to reach the cooler Buddhist and animistic middle hills, where chortens and prayer flags send prayers out to the gods and the Gurung and Magar inhabitants look more Tibetan than Nepali.

The whole trek was amazing! The guides for both the city tour and the trek were knowledgeable and genuine. I felt safe and looked after for the entire time. The guides and porters were all friendly and also left us to choose our pace that suited ourselves and the conditions. They found us excellent accommodations in tea houses and always ensured we were catered for with great meals and hospitality. Definitely recommend this tour.

Our trip with Outfitter Himalaya Holidays was fantastic from start to finish. Communication with Arjun and our guides was excellent throughout the trip. The tour of Kathmandu with Kabita was so educational and interesting-we saw everything we wanted and more. The trek to ABC was amazing and our guide Saroj was everything we needed - he was funny, encouraging, serious when needed, and flexible for us to trek at our own pace. We very quickly felt he knew us really well and took care of us - we both have some food restrictions and Saroj easily navigated the menus so we could experience the beautiful Nepali cuisine. The hotels and tea houses were comfortable with great food every day. We had such a great time that we already started planning our next trip next year. Thank you Outfitter Himalaya for such a wonderful experience.

The service provided by Outfitters Himalaya was second to none. Our guide Suraj during the ABC trek was knowledgeable, personable, helpful and caring. Our porters were super as well. The group was well taken of and our safety was their top priority. All the mountain lodges were the best there were in each of the villages we stopped at. The food and facilities were great. I would certainly be using Outfitters Himalaya again in the future. Highly recommended. You will be well taken care of.

This trip was incredible. Our guide Suraj and his team of fabulous porters supported and encouraged us up and down countless stairs, through remote villages, over suspension bridges and up into the shadows of the Himalayas at Annapurna Base Camp. We made memories and friends. Outfitters made sure every detail was taken care of from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. I recommend them without reservation and look forward to joining them again for another adventure.

Outfitter Himalaya Holidays - it felt to our Annapurna Base Camp trekking group very much like family. Great care and consideration by the owner, guide and porters, extremely well organised yet with flexibility. It seemed a tougher trek than the Moderate description, but that would no doubt be relative to climbing the peaks. We all successfully made it comfortably walking our own pace and with encouragement from guide Suraj and porters. It was a great way to meet new friends while enjoying amazing scenery the closer we got to Annapurna Base Camp.

This tour was amazing. The Outfitters team were very organized and so, so helpful! Our Guide, Suraj and his team of Porters, Vikram, Hari, Badeep and Roshan were faultless (I hope I spelled their names correctly). They each went out of their way to ensure we were safe, well looked after and have the best experience possible. The accommodation on the trek was as you would expect from remote mountain lodges, comfortable and tidy but don't go into the Himalayas expecting 5 star hotels. It is not possible. You will see why when you get to the mountains. Everything is carried in by locals on rough tracks. The food was great with many options available. As for the trek, 11/10 for scenery. Nepal is a beautiful place and the Annapurna Sanctuary is utterly stunning. Expect stairs... then, more stairs. The Nepali people you will meet on the way are incredibly helpful, cheerful and genuinely friendly. I would recommend taking more toilet paper and gastrostop than you think you need as Nepali food goes right through you. Ear plugs are a must. The Nepali paper currency can be annoying. Expect to walk around with big wads of cash so take a large wallet. ATMs only dispense 1000NPR notes and vendors in the mountains only carry small amounts of change so stock up on smaller denominations in Kathmandu or Pokhara before the walk begins. ATMs also charge between 500-800NPR per transaction so withdraw cash once and make it count.

This trek to Everest Base Camp with Outfitter Himalaya was amazing. Everything single thing on our tour was taken care of by our incredible guides, Raj & Bier. Both were very knowledgeable, helpful and supportive the entire tour. The accommodation was modest but expected given the location. This tour is challenging and tough physically and mentally but is incredibly spectacular and scenery stunning. The challenge of making it to base camp was made a lot easier thanks to the team at Outfitter Himalaya. If you’re considering a trek or tour to Nepal, Outfitter Himalaya can tailor something to suit. They do the lot and their knowledge of the Himalaya’s is unrivaled. Highly recommend!! Paul R. Gold Coast - Australia.

This company and the people are absolutely amazing!!! Bhim our guide and our porters were warm, friendly and cheeky and most importantly kept us safe at all times. Bhim was incredibly patient with us but still kept us motivated the whole time. He really is an amazing guide. Arjun, who managed our booking responded to all of our requests in a timely manner and was always willing to answer questions, no matter what they were - making the whole organisation of the trek super easy. This trek was everything the company promised and more. If I ever go back to Nepal I will be doing another trek through this company. The people, the communication, the experience were all 10/10.

Thank you very much to my guide Soraj and my porters Sangam and Ruslen, who did an amazing job in guiding me through to the Annapurna Base Camp. It was a tough trek, but it made the views all the more worth it!
