Sioma Ngwezi National Park

After breakfast, you will pack your luggage and begin a scenic drive toward Sioma Ngwezi, travelling through rural landscapes and remote areas that showcase Zambia’s natural beauty. Upon arrival, you will settle into a community campsite set along the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, offering a peaceful and authentic wilderness atmosphere. In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of the nearby falls, where you can admire the flowing waters and surrounding scenery. Upon arrival, you will settle in at Katoyana Campsite, located within the park and surrounded by vast open plains. No activities are scheduled on the day of arrival, allowing time to relax and absorb the peaceful surroundings.

Liuwa Plain National Park

Once your shopping is complete, you will continue to Mutoya Campsite, where you will settle in for the night along the expansive Barotse Plains, surrounded by wide-open skies and tranquil scenery. No scheduled activities are planned for this day, giving you the opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite. All meals are included, allowing you to rest and recharge in preparation for the exciting wildlife experiences that lie ahead in Kafue.

Kafue National Park

After breakfast, you will pack your luggage and embark on a scenic drive to the central region of Kafue National Park, one of Zambia’s largest and most diverse wildlife reserves. Upon arrival, you will set up camp at Mayukuyuku Campsite, located along the peaceful Kafue River, where the sounds of nature and flowing water provide a serene introduction to the park. No activities are scheduled on the day of arrival, giving you the chance to relax, settle into your surroundings, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this remote wilderness. Starting the next day, you will experience two guided game drives—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—designed to immerse you fully in Kafue’s rich biodiversity. Exploration continues with morning and afternoon game drives, giving you another full day to discover the central part of Kafue National Park. Upon arrival at New Kalala Campsite along Itezhi-Tezhi Dam, you will settle in and relax, ready for the next days of guided morning and afternoon game drives. All meals are included.

Kafue National Park

Enjoy a full day morning and afternoon game drives, immersing yourself in the incredible wildlife and landscapes of the southern park. The morning drive begins at sunrise, when the animals are most active, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, antelopes, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitats. The fresh morning air and soft light create perfect conditions for photography and wildlife observation. After returning to camp for a break and a meal, you will set out again in the afternoon, as the park takes on a different character under the warm glow of the setting sun. During this drive, you may encounter different wildlife behaviors and enjoy the striking scenery of the Itezhi-Tezhi Dam and surrounding plains.

Lusaka

After breakfast, you will pack your luggage and begin the drive to Lusaka, Zambia’s vibrant capital city, where you will be accommodated at Pioneer Lodge. Along the way, you will travel through scenic countryside, observing the changing landscapes as you leave the wilderness behind. Upon arrival in Lusaka, there will be a stop to stock up on groceries and essentials, preparing for the next stage of your journey. This day is at leisure, with no scheduled activities, giving you time to relax, unwind, and enjoy the comfortable surroundings of the lodge. Lunch will be provided, while dinner is at your own cost in the lodge’s restaurant, allowing you to sample local or international cuisine at your convenience. This restful stop offers a perfect pause before the final leg of your Zambian adventure.

Lusaka Collective

On the final day of your Zambian adventure, you will enjoy breakfast at Pioneer Lodge, savoring your last moments in the comfort of the lodge and reflecting on the incredible experiences you’ve had throughout your journey. After breakfast, you will pack your belongings and prepare for departure. Depending on your departure time, there may be time to relax at the lodge or take in a final glimpse of Lusaka before your transfer to the airport.
