5.00A friend and I did the Everest Base Camp trek. Everything went smoothly, starting with the airport pickup to decent accommodation in Kathmandu. Our guide was very knowledgeable and good entertainment, and our porter was an absolute machine! The guide took good care of my friend and knew what to do when he started suffering altitude sickness. Near the end, when bad weather was coming in, Ram was able to use his network of contacts to get us a helicopter ride off the mountain at short notice so we made our flights back. A great experience and an amazing hike, Nepal Gateway were flawless.

5.00Nepal gateway trekking organised a great trek for Renjo pass and Gokyo Ri, which was an amazing hike with splendid views. All went very smooth, perfect communication, greetings and a very nice hotel in Kathmandu, transfers to Lukla and nice teahouses in Himalayas. Naibin was a great companion during the 10 days hike. They support was crucial arranging an alternative departure with a helicopter back to Kathmandu, as Lukla airport was closed for 2 days due to weather. All in all, excellent experience, they are smaller agency, hence are very responsive, flexible and can accomodate requests, which was essential for my hike. Hope to trek with them again.
