This was a fantastic experience, highly recommended, for everyone. The education received and the game drives, puts it all into perspective and makes you appreciate Africa.. Chris and bonbon were fantastic, what a wealth of information that they contain. My best safari by far.!

First of all we booked this experience a long time ago and paid for it at that time. We sent several request about the pick up and no one responded. We arrived at the airport at 7:30 AM on December 19 and the scheduled pick up was for 12 noon. No one showed up so we started calling to find out why no one came. I found a phone number for Sibuya on the Internet and the guy that answered the phone was a previous employee. I thought I had been scammed. He assured me that I was not scammed and that he would call the current manager Chris. Chris called me back and he said he would come and get us, but we were not on his list. He arrived at 2:30 to pick us up and he said that they would try to get in touch with you all at Viator work to figure out why he didn’t know we were coming luckily they had room for us. Otherwise, finding accommodations at Christmas time would have been very difficult and expensive. During our stay, we reached out still trying to get it figured out and the staff at Savoia had no luck in getting it figured out. When we left on January 3, they still had not received their money after being on the phone with via tour for over an hour, we were not allowed to speak to a supervisor. Viator would not verify the phone number and email address for the supplier and the telephone number was incorrect that we had. The only thing buy a tour was willing to do for us was refund the price we paid, but that didn’t help us. We were stuck at the airport with no accommodations for 15 days thank God the folks at Sibuya were kind enough to have space to accommodate us. This was our first Safari scheduled in Africa from the airport from this Safari we were supposed to be dropped off at the airport and our next excursion through via tour was supposed to pick us up on January 3 again we could not get in contact with the supplier and neither could Viator. The suppliers phone number was incorrect and could not get a hold of them anyway we tried through Viator, email or WhatsApp. Buy a tour has very poor Customer service so now that is two out of two big issues. We have several more reservations through via tour and we are very worried of being let down again even though by a tour assures us that the rest are fine.

I recently did the volunteer program for 4 weeks, it is a really great opportunity for anyone that is wanting to start a career working with wildlife or conservation. They don’t require any experience, so there is no need to feel nervous about applying. When you leave the program you will have acquired so much knowledge with the help of your guide, Luke. He is very knowledgeable of the area and patient with learners. When I went, I met so many extremely nice people whom I still keep in touch with today. So not only can you find your pathway in life, but you may also have life changing experiences and lifelong relationships. I highly recommend this program.
