  • An incredible adventure

We worked with Rebecca Travel for over a year organizing this 15 day Ecuador trip. We did Quito, Galapagos and the cloud forest. The communication was seamless, we made changes and additions and the team managed all of our requests. It was a trip of a lifetime and it all went down without a hitch. Also, I can’t say enough about our guide in Quito, Fernando Silva who was knowledgeable and very accommodating. Rebecca travel made great recommendations from the catamaran in the Galapagos ( Anahi) to the beautiful Mashpi lodge in the cloud forest. Our family enjoyed every minute and we saw the most incredible wildlife. Ecuador is a beautiful country with lots to offer.

  • Phenomenal trip

We started our tour in Quito and then traveled to the Galapagos and boarded our catamaran with galaxy. The boat was perfect with 16 guests, almost the same as the crew. Service was excellent as was the food. The islands speak for themselves incredible. The tour then shifted to the Amazon. Stayed at Sasha lodge in the jungle. Food and service excellent and we were a group of just 4. They kept us very active with walking and boat excursions. Would have been nice to see an anaconda or a sloth but still was a great experience. We the traveled to Peru landing in Lima. All the hotels were top notch and it was fun making a pisco sour and ceviche. Then off to Machu Picchu where photos can’t do it justice. Overall, it was an incredible adventure with excellent service from the tour company with guides, drivers and office staff. Highly recommend

I booked a trip through Rebecca Travel to tour the Galapagos islands the Amazon, and Machu Picchu. This was a 21 day tour broke up into the three separate parts each place we visited. We had our own tour guide for a group of 4 of us and all were amazing. The four of us are all fairly optimistic and adventurous so we kind of roll with the punches. All travelers had a great attitude which also makes the trip very enjoyable. The Galapagos islands tour included snorkeling every day and island hikes with nature guides where we saw the blue footed boobie, tons of iguanas and other island life. Snorkeling included many sea lions, sea turtles, numerous vibrant colored fish, a hammerhead shark, a very large, hammerhead, shark and many black tip sharks. We also spent some time canoeing and paddle boarding. Ship was top-notch with nine cabins and staff was incredible. It was an awesome adventure. Onto the Amazon our plane was delayed, and we arrived in the dark, which I think was my favorite part of the whole trip. When we arrived to the island to get to the lodge it was pouring rain and very dark and we were handed rain ponchos. We then hiked for 20 minutes through the Amazon to a canoe and then canoed over for about another 20 minutes to Sacha lodge. The lodge was waiting for us with towels and escorted us to the restaurant area where they did a quick debriefing and then they served us a five star dinner. Absolutely incredible experience! From there each day we hiked or canoed through the Amazon viewing various wildlife. Lodge was exceptional, just absolutely beautiful. From there, we went and spent a couple days in Quito and did some tours including the equator. We then flew to Cusco and did a cooking class where we made Pisco sours and probably should’ve stopped there, but went back to the hotel and the rooftop bar and had some more Pisco Sours. I really never need to have a Pisco Sour ever again in my life. From there, we flew to Coca in Peru and toured the city prior to taking the train up to Machu Picchu. Our guide Miguel that we had for our Machu Picchu portion was top notch. They should use him to train all other guides. We did absolutely nothing when we got to the hotel. He put us in the lounge provide us tea and drinks, took our passports and went and checked us in and made sure all our luggage arrived. He was incredible the whole trip. He always made sure we had everything, he was responsive he was just top-notch. All our guides were great, but he was far superior to any guide we’ve ever had. He also had the best driver. Ecuador and Peru can be a little aggressive with driving and our driver with Miguel was wonderful! I just always felt very safe. He was great. Words just can’t explain what a phenomenal trip this was and I highly recommend it. I highly recommend Rebecca Travel. I will definitely use them again if traveling to South America. The only suggestion I would have would be less flights. We were flying from Los Angeles and we had a total for the 21 days of 13 flights Six of those flights were LA to Ecuador and return , which is on us, but thinking some of the flights between countries could’ve been reduced. I think part of the problem is they have such limited flights from one place to the other and coordinating those were difficult, but if they could reduce the number of flights that would be awesome. If you’re thinking of going, I would say do it , you won’t regret it. It’s a trip of a lifetime and Rebecca Travel was top notch and did a great job! And- I’m a SUPER picky eater and the food was incredible. Fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken and fish. 5 star food! Excellent. I took a case of protein bars with me just to be safe and I only ate two bars the whole trip and both of those were in the airport. And you can’t have too much insect repellent. I went through two cans of off deep forest bug spray and two small bottles of DEET. I still got bit, but it was bearable.

We had a fantastic experience with Rebecca Travel from the initial booking through the entire trip. The booking experience began with a zoom call to get to know our agent, Juan. Juan was great at working through multiple trip iterations and always positive! Rebecca had great standard itineraries which we used as a basis for our vacation. We achieved a superb itinerary at a good price. During the trip, we received daily updates on what to expect. Additionally, there were some in-country issues that affected our trip. Karina and her staff were amazing in changing the order of our trip to see maximize our time in Ecuador. Through the trip, we found we had many private tours. The guides spoke good English, knowledgeable about the country and sights, and were generous with telling us about their lives. We wholeheartedly recommend booking and travelling with Rebecca Adventure Travel. It was a pleasure working with them during the booking and through the trip.

We saw so many incredible animals and landscapes and did so many memorable things. The people were also very nice and welcoming.

Rebecca Adventure Travel planned and orchestrated the perfect introduction to an amazing country for two of us. We were happy with everything and it all went off like clockwork. The hotels were great especially the Ikala Quitó. The transportation was always there on time. The hostesses and guides were all great. Arranging COVID testing in our hotel was a big help. The staff with whom we worked, Wilma, Karina & Nathaly were super helpful. Ecuador was a great choice, the people are friendly, fun and a pleasure to be around, Quito is energetic and magical, the jungle was interesting and Galápagos beautiful, the food was good and the homemade soups super great. Can’t say enough about what a positive experience our trip was and would definitely use Rebeccas again.
