    - Review from Tripadvisor

If I could give 6 stars or more, I would! The level of pre-trip service from Yuriy was beyond exceptional: lots of email inquiries answered with precision within minutes (not kidding, even when they were sent in the middle of Yuriy's night!); kindness and patience when our questions went on and on and on!; phone calls made to us when needs were urgent (i.e., passport scans not clear enough for visa applications, etc.) The level of detail (different, flight arrivals/departures, special requests made, etc.) that Yuriy had to track made my head spin (and I was a project manager throughout my career!) We were fortunate to meet Yuriy in the flesh in Baku--and he was as sweet and helpful in person as he was electronically. The tour itself was amazing. Three countries, three different guides--all highly professional; extremely well-informed re: history and the sites visited; personally engaging and fun; accommodating of our quirks (!). We were sad to say goodbye at the borders; all three felt like friends by then. The sites we saw were wonderful and our time/visits at them wonderfully planned--and included three glorious home-cooked meals in the homes of winemakers in Georgia, a visit to one of the guide's uncle's bakery in her hometown, and other treats. Our group of 7 was a very curious and educated bunch; our questions never stopped--and the guides were very willing and able to answer them all (though I think we might have exhausted them...). The hotels were nicer than I had anticipated--and included a spa resort overlooking the vast stretch of surrounding vineyards. Best massage of my life! And the countries themselves? Wow, wow, and wow! I want to go back! Small bordering countries with vastly different cultures, language, food, politics. Culture and beauty unparalleled. At various times, we were short distances from Russia and Iran--very exciting for an American! Particularly in Georgia and Armenia, the pride of country was palatable. One teeny issue: although we were told our daily excursions would not be physically taxing, there were places and sites with considerable number of steps and heights to climb. Distances were not great, just the climbs. (we did have an 82 year old, two 75 year-olds, and a 70 year-old to keep it in perspective--though two/three of them did not feel challenged at all.) Two people in our group went to Spain after our tour--and told us the guides were horrible! No good information, just trying to up-sell them on side trips, etc. What a difference! Finally, 15 days was perfect; I wouldn't have wanted less! I'd go anywhere with Adventour!
