I recently did the 15-day “All About Namibia” guided lodge tour with Motema Tours, and it was honestly the trip of a lifetime. Every single day brought something new and breathtaking. We started in Windhoek and made our way through the Kalahari Desert, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha National Park, and more. The lodges were all beautiful—comfortable, clean, and in stunning locations. Waking up to the sound of birds or watching sunsets over the dunes was something I’ll never forget. Our guide was amazing—so knowledgeable, funny, and caring. They made sure we felt safe and informed every step of the way. We saw wildlife up close in Etosha, visited ancient rock engravings in Twyfelfontein, walked on the red dunes of Sossusvlei, and enjoyed coastal vibes in Swakopmund. I loved that the tour was well-paced. It wasn’t rushed, but we also saw so much of the country. From desert to ocean, wildlife to culture, every moment felt meaningful.
