What To Expect
*Please note that due to nearby construction the Dojo is closed for February 2026. For bookings in January, should there be construction during the experience times, we may ask to reschedule to an earlier or later time on the same day to avoid construction noise. Weekend dates may also be recommended, when construction is not active. Should guests not mind the construction noise we will proceed as usual with the booking. We kindly ask for your understanding.* Step into history and experience the art of Kyudo at our dojo, preserving its traditions since the late Edo period. For over 160 years, we have upheld the elegance, discipline, and cultural significance of Japanese longbow archery. Our expert instructors provide beginner-friendly lessons, guiding you through hands-on practice with real bows and arrows. More than just archery, Kyudo fosters focus, discipline, and harmony, offering a deeply meditative and authentic experience. Note: If the time you would like to book is not available, please reach out to us. Note: Please note that if there are unexpected circumstances(Sickness,Health issues of staff etc.) we may have to cancel or reschedule your reservation for full refund.

5.00This experience was amazing the instructors were the nicest people ever 🥹🤍🤍, we enjoyed every minute of this experience. We even went back again to practice more , it’s an amazing experience to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. They even took so many photos of us and shared it with us at the end , I will definitely recommend all my friends to it.

5.00We would highly recommend this activity. We found it very enjoyable. The instructors were very kind and helpful. We would certainly do it again if we returned to kyoto. For our family it was a highlight of the holiday. Such alot of fun. Shot loads of arrows. Amazing experience
