This is a quick and easy way to visit 2 countries in 1 day and fit in three beautiful and unique visitor sites as you go!
Start with a stop at the Bauska Medieval castle where you'll have time to go up in the recently renovated tower.
Continue with little Versailles - Rundale palace and its gardens! This is your opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the palace with no queues. Free time to enjoy the palace, and gardens and also to have lunch here, if you wish.
And last but not least - visit the unique Hill of Crosses in Lithuania! Now you can tick off another country in your list as there will be a border crossing!
We'll organize comfy transportation, good and professional drivers, and printout sheets with information about all of these sites so you can enjoy everything at your own pace. Please know that you can bring a cross to the Hill of Crosses if you wish. There are also locals selling crosses on site.
The tour runs if there are at least 3 people booked for the day.

Photo stop at Bauska Medieval castle where some people say - it looks like Game of Thrones set! You'll have free time to go up at the freshly renovated viewing tower, explore the fortress ruins and take some nice photos with surroundings.
Rundale Palace Museum

A great way to get outside of Riga!

5.00This was great for solo travelers or groups. Viesturs was an excellent guide and great company for the day. I really appreciated his knowledge and humor. This trip is an excellent way to see the hill of crosses and great historic locations outside of Riga. If the tour group ever does a Riga/Vilnius tour and transfer, that's the only way I could imagine it would be better!

5.00Good trip, both the palace and the hill of crosses are really worth seeing. The guide was very professional and super knowledgeable. Just so you know the order of the itinerary is different than what was posted—we actually did the hill of crosses first, which is fine except that it foiled my plan to drink a Lithuanian beer in Lithuania, as the bars and restaurants weren’t open yet… One note is that they asked me to change the date of my tour, which fortunately worked out for me, but it’s probably good if you have some flexibility built into your schedule—I would have been sad if they had to cancel and I didn’t get another chance to visit Lithuania on my trip!
