This was an amazing experience. Amanda and her brothers organized an excellent two day tour of Baños for us. Amanda took me and my girlfriend in her car out there and made travel to and from Baños simple. She took us to traditional markets, restaraunts and all the tourist sights in between. We saw and experienced far more culturally then we ever would have been able to find on our own. Amanda got us great deals in town with the hotel and adventure tours and helped guide us to any side excursions we were looking for. I wish our trip had been longer so we could experience their Mindo or Cotopaxia. When we return to Ecuador we will definetly be booking another trip with Ecuatouring

My husband and I booked Amanda for the two day overnight Banos tour. She gave us lots of options of places to stay in Baños, a funky little town. When we really didn’t want to do zip lining or rafting, which is rather standard for that area, we did the “swing at the end of the world”, visited the local thermal springs right in the town of Banos under a beautiful waterfall, and then we went further south towards the Amazon to visit two more sets of falls , a local restaurant, and swim right near a waterfall. The Falls are beautiful, and by the way, the hikes up and down to them can be quite strenuous, which we really enjoyed . Amanda was flexible in her itinerary, made lots of suggestions, was funny and witty, told great stories about the history of Ecuador, and spoke extremely strong English, which is rare for a guide in Ecuador we found. We enjoyed the Banos tour so much that we asked her to tour around the city and take the cable card to the top. Amanda also went way out of her way to help one of us get a set of hiking boots so that we could do the hike up to the Refugio on Cotopaxi.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Baños thanks to our guide Amanda. She picked us up from our hotel in Quito and we drove to Baños. The drive took approximately 3.5 hours and along the way, there are many towns you drive through. Amanda was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the history, the culture, the topography and climate of the area as well as what is planted in the areas we drove through. On our first day we saw three different waterfalls, hiked down to one of them, rode a cable car across the river, did the swing at Casa del Arbol, had some lunch and then made arrangements for our excursion the next day. We spent the night in a hotel called Isla de Baños which was fine. Breakfast was included and plentiful. For our second day activity we booked a whitewater rafting trip with Geotours which Amanda recommended and we had an AMAZING experience. We drove back to Quito after the rafting experience. If you’re looking to have an awesome experience in Baños, book this tour with Amanda as your guide. You won’t be disappointed!

We did the day tour to Mindo Cloud Forest. Amanda was a great guide, very attentive and informative. We loved that part of the cost of tours goes towards helping stray dogs. The tour was flexible and we could choose where we spent our time and for how long. Amanda dropped us at the airport afterwards so if was a great option for our last day in Quito and Ecuador. We highly recommend using EcuaTouring for their friendliness, knowledge and most definitely for what they are doing to help the stray dogs in the Quilatoa and Mindo areas.

Our trip with Pablo was amazing. On our way to Banos he was a wealth of knowledge about what we were seeing, provided commentary on local history, and knew where to stop for pictures (and ice cream). He showed us around Banos and took us to several spots for adventure, including helping take pictures of us and we swung over the edge of the world and stood under a waterfall. When we first started the trip I asked about other trips since I've always wanted to visit the Amazon as well. Pablo informed us that we could extend this one and go to Misahualli since we were already going to be nearly half way there. With no pressure at all to extend the trip, Pablo rolled with our decision the next morning to add 2 more nights and go to the Amazon. Once there he helped us find a hotel and a tour guide to take us down the river, where we got to visit an animal rescue center, feed caymans, spend time with a local community, and eat chocolate (Pablo came too as a translator). It was a wonderful experience, and the ability to be flexible and help us take advantage of our time in Ecuador really helped Pablo and Ecuatouring make our time unforgettable!

We had an amazing 3-day custom tour with Amanda, visiting Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, and Banos. Amanda was very flexible and made good suggestions when we told her what we were interested in and what we wanted to do. She told us a lot about Ecuador, the towns, the towns, and the culture and people along the way, and she speaks excellent English! The whole trip was well organized and honestly we think the tour was the best way to visit these places. She was also a very safe and good driver!

The natural environment was beautiful. My guide Amanda was great. I recommend her as a guide. I don’t know how I feel about having to pay to see a waterfall that is naturally occurring it should be free.
