Went during the May public holidays so it was crowded everywhere. But Cindy, our wonderful tour guide, made sure that we covered the scenic spots and interesting experiences like the West Lake tour and Wuzhen water village (eye-opening experience of a traditional way of life). Within the watertown and the lake area, need to walk a fair bit to take in the sights. Also enjoyed the local cuisine. Had the most wonderful lunch experience at a Teahouse in a tea plantation (chicken soup, spare ribs smoked with tea leaves… and fresh mountain air in a rustic setting).
