Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park, located in Zimbabwe, is a premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The journey begins with a scenic drive, where participants can witness the transition from urban landscapes to the untamed wilderness that characterizes Hwange. This contrast sets the stage for an enriching exploration of one of Africa's largest game reserves. We will pick you from your lodge in Victoria Falls early in the morning around 0600hrs. Upon arrival at Hwange, you are greeted by a plethora of wildlife species, including elephants, lions, and various antelope species. The park is renowned for its large elephant population, which provides unique opportunities for observation and photography. This drive will allow you to engage with knowledgeable rangers who offer insights into animal behavior and conservation efforts. Such interactions enhance the educational value of the safari experience. We will have lunch for the day in the park.

Hwange National Park

Prepare yourself for the Hwange 'night act' featuring a whole new cast. You will depart from the lodge with your guide, spotlight and camera at the ready. This is the ultimate time for spotting the big cats, from leopards or lion on the hunt, followed by spotted hyena looking for leftovers. The estate in as rich as the national park as no fence boarders the national park making it ideally safe for this drive during the night.

Hwange National Park

We wake up with packed breakfast and embark on another drive. This will be an early game drive, of course on a different route. During the game drive you will engage with knowledgeable guides who share insights into the behavioral patterns and the habiotant of Hwange National Park. Furthermore, the drive offers opportunities for photography and personal reflection amidst breathtaking scenery that ranges from savannahs to dense woodlands. The early morning game drive in Hwange National Park not only facilitates unforgettable wildlife encounters but also emphasizes the importance of conservation awareness. Through firsthand experiences in such vibrant ecosystems, individuals can develop a more profound respect for nature's intricacies while contributing to ongoing preservation initiatives. We expect to end the drive at around 0900hrs and then go back to Gwango to get our bags before driving back to Victoria Falls. We xpect to get to Victoria falls at least by 1400hrs.
