From our base in Manoel Island, you will have had a fantastic holiday and will have visited some great marinas and bays along the way. You will also meet active people like you and have a great time sailing. You will learn sailing starting from scratch, get trained to be a crew member, and obtain the world-recognized RYA Start Yachting qualification by the end of the course. At the same time, you will explore and view the most beautiful places in Malta from a boat. The two-day practical sail cruising course is the best way to become active crew members rather than just passengers, with no experience needed, just enthusiasm to get into the world of sailing! You can experience living on board and really get to know the boat. Virtually all the course is hands-on. You are the crew - without you, the sails won't go up. By the end of the course, you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework, and be aware of safety on board. The course usually runs every week from Monday to Tuesday or from Saturday to Sunday (between 09.30hrs and 17.00hrs). The yacht you will be sailing is called “Look far”, a Bavaria 44 four-cabin version, and is moored in Manoel Island Marina.
