You want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the northern mountainous region and experience the magnificence of the mountains, caves, waterfalls, etc. This tour is for you. One of the four largest international waterfalls in the world, and certainly one of the most well-known in Vietnam, is the Ban Gioc Waterfall. Travelers from all over the world have been flocking there in recent years to take in its distinctively peculiar natural beauty.
Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in Dam Thuy Commune (Cao Bang City), which is 335 kilometers from Hanoi. The western side of the waterfall is owned by Vietnam, while the eastern side is claimed by China. As a result, indigenous ethnic communities in the Ban Gioc Waterfall area contribute a great range of cultural traditions.

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls
Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights. Located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls are 30 metres high and 300 metres across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country. The falls occur on the Quay Son River, a beautiful jade-blue body of water flowing from China through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles. Despite improved road access and public transportation connections, and the popularity of several recent viral drone videos showcasing the majesty of the falls, Ban Gioc is still a relatively off-the-beaten-path sight. Mass tourism has yet to arrive and, outside of weekends and public holidays, there’s rarely more than a trickle of foreign and domestic visitors.
Nguom Ngao Cave
Nguom Ngao Cave is a natural wonder nestled in Gun Village of Cao Bang Province in Northern Vietnam, which lies in close proximity to the Vietnam-China border. This province is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush mountains, picturesque valleys, and enchanting waterfalls.

I decided to book a private tour for my family since we have elderly people in my family. Katie arranged everything for us and the communication was such great. She promptly responded to all of our requests and help us from beginning to end of the trip. The driver and your guide were arranged by her are amazing. they are very patient to us and took care of our family kindly. The foods are absolutely amazing. The recommendation for places to visit was the highlight of the trip. We visited all the best places within 2 days. We will use services again when we come back Vietnam.

Mike was right on time collecting us from our hotel (an issue we had in the past with other tours). We had an explanation on the history of Pac Bo, the indigenous people and the Nguom Ngao cave. Mike, our guide, was friendly, informative, and made sure we had a great time. Also, the advantage of a private tour is the personal attention, no stress re-timing, and adaptable itinerary, which really added to the experiece. Strongly recommend!

I recently embarked on a fascinating journey to Pac Bo in Cao Bang, a historical site that left an indelible mark on my understanding of Vietnam's rich history. This tour, guided by the knowledgeable and enthusiastic Mr. Mike Tran, was a perfect blend of cultural exploration and natural beauty. The journey began with a scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of Cao Bang province, setting the tone for a day filled with discovery. Upon reaching Pac Bo, the serene surroundings and lush greenery immediately transported us to a different era. Mr. Mike’s insightful commentary added depth to the experience as we explored the cave where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the early stages of the revolutionary movement. His vivid storytelling painted a vivid picture of the challenges and triumphs faced by Ho Chi Minh and the Viet Minh in their quest for independence. The trek through the surrounding areas allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty that served as a backdrop to this significant chapter in Vietnam's history. The crystal-clear streams and dense forests created a tranquil atmosphere, contrasting with the tumultuous events that unfolded decades ago. Lunch, served at a local village, showcased the flavors of Cao Bang's cuisine. The authenticity of the meal added an extra layer to the cultural immersion, providing a taste of the region's culinary heritage.
