Your guide will wait for you at Pingyao Railway Station ahead of your arrival. Then a comfortable private car will take you to check in the hotel.
Ancient City of Pingyao
After a short break, you will be accompanied to see the highlights of the town, including Ancient Ming-Qing Street, Temple of the City God, Rishengchang Exchange Shop, Tongxinggong Ancient Security Guard Company, and Ancient City Wall. All of these spots are the representatives of this old city. Afterwards, you will be sent back to your hotel.

Shuanglin Temple
Today, you will visit the Shuanglin temple, which is composed of ten palaces, including more than two thousands painted clay sculptures of Buddhist figures in different demeanor.
Wang's Family Compound (Wang Jia Dayuan)
Then your guide and driver will transfer you to Wang Family's Compound, an ancient private resident complex of a famous commercial and financial capitalist. It is very famous for its sheer size and ornamental structures. It looks like a small walled city, displaying the wealth of Wang family more than 200 years ago.

5.00I spend 2 days in Datong with our guide, Benny, and I enjoyed this place. We visited Yungang grottoes, the wooden pagoda and the "new ancient city", Benny gave us a lot of explanations, I learned a lot of things about Bouddhism. Datong is a nice city, I'd like to spend more time to discover it. In the evenings, we went to a local restaurant Benny recommanded us, and it was delicious !!
